New Life

"1,2,3" kasabay ng pagtatapos ng bilang ang pagclick ng camera. It is just a week after we accepted the offer of Seyene and now we're busy and having a tight schedule.

I just posed and smile to the camera. They want to make a shot that I am totally smiling and a happy vibe and it is easier for me because I am already happy.

The girls are in the back of the camera, cheering for me, tinutulungan pa ako sa pagpo pose. We are going to model some dresses from a known designer, even the designer herself is here to show her support to us.

Seqene hire a manager for us, to clear our messy schedule. We have lots of offers. We just enjoy our job for this summer.

It is already April and Sexene's birthday is coming. She doesn't want it to be grand as her mom is let her decide what celebration she wanted every year. If she want it to celebrate with her mom then they will go out of the country to have their own bonding.

"I want to celebrate it with you girls" aniya na may malawak na ngiti sa labi.

She said that after we ran a fashion walk. It is our first time to do that, sa practice na iyon ay seryoso kami, kaya nilang magseryoso kapag nasa trabaho, ibang iba kung kami na lamang lima.

I walked to the aisle proudly, I started to walk as a fine lady. I am wearing a blue glittered long gown that is fitted with my body pretty well.

Habang naglalakad ako ay pansin ko ang matiim na mga matang nakasubaybay sa akin, I know where it is coming from. My heart feels sour yet it is fluttering me. I thought I am already done with these feeling for him but compared before, it is not that shallow anymore. My knees are not melting anymore because of him.

Huminto ako saglit at ngumiti sa mga tao bago tumalikod. Sa pagtalikod ko ay nakita ko ang mga pares ng maiitim ng mga mata sa gilid ng stage, iniwasan ko ang mga mata niya at pinanatili ang engrandeng paglalakad hanggang sa backstage.

"Nandun labidabs mo, 'di ba?" Tumango ako kay Serene.

"Hindi pa rin kayo ayos?" -Seqene

"Ayoko pa."

Tanda ko ang pagtawag niya noong isang gabi na aksidente kong nasagot dahil nakapikit ang mga mata ko.

"Hello?" I asked with a sleepy voice. Agad akong napabangon ng marinig ang boses sa pagkatapos kong magsalita.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to call. Napindot lang" his voice was filled with panic and immediately the call ended.

It bombarded me the whole day. It was an accident and after everything, I still trust his words. But it hurts.

His face that day flashed in my mind, my tears started falling again. Agad ko itong pinalis at dumiretso sa banyo upang makapag ayos.

Those eyes with full of adoration towards me before still hunts me. Guilt runs on my veins as my heart bleed from too much pain. Those eyes that are in the verge of crying... I can't see him cry.

Am I heartless? Of course.

I didn't expect to see him again. That is our last walk for tonight. Suot ang aming mga gown ay nagpicture kami sa backstage bago pumunta sa kaniya kaniyang silid para mag ayos sa pag uwi.
