Starting off with Alpha.

So, today we're going to ask some questions, there's a video involved if you want to watch! After each question pause the video and comment.

So, Alpha is a laid back organization. We are about in an adventure. Think of me (if you can't watch the video) of your tour guide. We are going to learn stuff we never knew. So Alpha is 12 sessions. Designed to engage us in a conversation about some of life's most important questions. I want to provoke you to think about what you believe and how you feel about certain faith issues. This isn't going to be a lecture where I just talk the entire time. Instead your going to get a chance to talk in a small group. And ask questions as they come along. But before we go any further I am Irina. Welcome to Alpha.

So humans average life span is 80 years. But what are we supposed to do with 80 years on planet earth? What's the point of all this time? Or more importantly is there even a point at all. Now this is going to ask life's biggest questions. But it can be weird talking about something as big as life. It's something we just do, everyday we just eat sleep and do whatever. Go to school, talk to friends, do homework etc. then we go to bed, and when we wake up we do it all again. It just sort of happens.
