It is the afternoon of the Halloween Dance. The past two weeks had gone by quickly. They were full of dancing practice and setting up the Ball Room with decorations.
George and Cora had become close friends. They have lots in common. They are both 17 and have a younger and older sibling.
George also met Dream's sister, who goes by the nickname Drista. George assumes that their parents had asked the school to not release her name either.
She is short and witty. She and Tommy became good friends as they both love pulling pranks.
"Does this tie look dorky?" Nick questions, facing his friends. They all begin laughing. He was wearing a bright purple tie with yellow circles.
"Where the hell did you even get that?" Alex smirks. He yanks the tie off of his neck and looks at it with disgust. He holds it out with his thumb and pointer finger and begins to fake gag, causing Karl to giggle loudly.
Nick rolls his eyes and yanks it away from Alex. He throws the tie to the floor and replaces it with a red and blue one.
"Can I paint your nails?" Karl asks George.
"Oh no thank you," George says, putting on his blazer.
Karl looks at Nick who is violently shaking his head. Karl grabs his wrist and slams his hand on the table while opening a bottle of black nail polish.
All the boys put on the finishing touches to their outfits. George is wearing a dark blue blazer and matching pants. He has a white button up under his jacket. He is holding a black bow tie and a white and blue tie.
He holds up the two tie options. "Which one?" He asks Karl, knowing he has the best style out of all of them.
"Blue and white tie, definitely," Karl answers quickly, returning his attention to painting Nicks nails. Nick looks at George.
"Help me," Nick pleads.
Karl lightly slaps his hand and continues to add the paint onto his other hand.
Dream emerges from the dressing room wearing an all black suit. His shirt has 3 buttons on the top that are unbuttoned and a black tie that is wrapped around his neck like a scarf. His hair is messy and unbrushed.
George rolls his eyes. "Jesus Christ you don't even look like you are going to a dance." He gestures to the unbuttoned buttons.
"You look like you just threw that on after being fucked," Alex teases. Dream throws him a dirty look.
"Fuck off. I don't even want to go," He shrugs. He sits down in a chair and stretches out his legs, crossing his arms behind his neck.
"You are gonna embarrass yourself," George pushes, crouching next to him. "At least put your tie on." He insists.
"I'm tired. And I don't want to," Dream complains.
George frowns and yanks the tie off of Dream's neck and begins buttoning up his shirt. Dream smirks. "Don't. Even." George murmurs.
"Oh come on now," Dream giggles, throwing his neck over the back of the chair.
George puts his unused bow tie on Dream fluffs up his hair as the finishing touch. "You actually look presentable now. Ish." He stands up and slips on black dress shoes.
"Fuck, we need to be in the Ball Room in 2 minutes," Karl exclaims, quickly twisting the top onto his nail polish bottle. Nick examines his nails and Karl Grabs his wrist. "Do not touch your nails or I will kill you." He says, releasing his wrist. Nick grins.
