"Well, if I had to choose..."
"I'd choose Shoto." You said, not really thinking about it. Of course he'd be your choice. He was more charming and suave than Katsuki and Izuku. Shoto didn't seem to comprehend what you said just yet. "Oh..." Izuku trailed off, his face falling a little. You smiled softly, putting your hand on Izuku's shoulder. "You're like a brother to me, Izuku. Tomura is too. I care about you, just not like that." You explained in the nicest way you could.
Katsuki kept his gaze away, probably trying to act like he wasn't disappointed. "As for Katsuki, he's just not my type." You shrugged. Izuku giggled softly, but quickly hid it. Katsuki got a little ticked off, but he knew better than to say anything. He'd learned his lesson. Shoto was still quiet, but his cheeks were pink now. You chuckled softly.
"What, the realization only just set in?" You asked, looking over at Shoto. He snapped out of it, shaking his head the slightest bit. "I was just surprised, is all." He dismissed the notion almost instantly. He liked to keep his cool and calm persona in front of others, you knew that. It only made it more fun to tease him, though.

"How are Izuku and Katsuki doing?" You asked, not looking up from the book you were reading. Shoto shrugged. "They're doing better, but they definitely need more work before we're ready to infiltrate the hero ranks." He answered, sitting down next to you. At least they were making progress. "I'm glad I selected you to be the head of this little project. If I chose anyone else it'd take too long." You smiled softly.
Shoto rolled his eyes playfully. "You only say that because I'm your lover." He replied, nudging your shoulder. You marked your page and closed your book. "And you're a damn good one at that." You kissed the tip of Shoto's nose, placing your book on the coffee table. He went a little pink. "Oh hush. You just want cuddles, don't you?" He mentioned. He was right, of course, but it still made you a little pouty.
"Yep. And as your boss, I demand them." You said, just to get back at Shoto. He chuckled softly and wrapped his arms around you. "As you wish~" He kissed your forehead, looking down at you lovingly. You smiled, letting yourself relax. You'd gotten used to having him around. You'd make sure things stayed that way. You wouldn't be losing Shoto anytime soon. You'd protect him, no matter the cost.
