Look Away

Beautiful star that glow in the dark
From heaven where you look down to the earth
Tell me, what do you see in this world
That doesn't make you look away?

You light never fades like an eternal flame
Even when you see the forest burning red
When you see the ocean dye black
And you see this world slowly begin to die

You keep lightening our sky
After watching all this deaths
All the blood, all the evil
Corruption, tears and hate

Is it love? Is it hope?
What makes you keep staring
The only good things left in our world
They're hard to find in this earth always changing

If that's what you see, the reason
Why you don't look away
Then tell me pretty star
If you see it, tell me, where?

Because if you were here
And I was in your place
My dear shiny star
I wouldn't doubt to look away
