I never meant for any of this to happen. How did everything go so wrong, so fast? All I wanted was to be happy, but instead I lost everything.
You see it all started last year. 2020. The year everything changed. We went into quarantine thinking it would only last 2 weeks. We were wrong. I thought it wouldn't change anything between us. Again, I was wrong. Not only did this change us as a band, but it changed me. I don't even recognize the girl I was before this. The Jade who was seemingly happy, confident and on top of the world. The Jade who thought she had everything in her life figured out. That's the Jade who went into this pandemic, but it's definitely not who came out. I guess some good did come out this, but I am still trying to decide if it was all worth it.
