The sentence surprised you a little bit as you were standing in front of the front desk. Looking in the direction where Mr. Min was directing his body to.
Seeing him made you remember what had happened late last night. Making eye contact with the handsome boy in a silk black suit.
You can see a smirk blaster on his face which makes you break contact. Your attention was brung to a girl who was clung to the boy where he was claimed to be the new boss.
'Girlfriend maybe, probably wife, kid? Can't be kid they look the same age. His sister?' You start to ask yourself questions in your head making you squint your eyes trying to figure out who she was to him.
Not it really matters but it would be an interesting thing to find out. "Choi Y/N! Meet my son Eren your new boss. Eren meet the Choi Y/N!" Mr. Min interrupted the silence trying to introduce us to eachother.
'The' repeating in your head making you think they talk about you a lot. Looking over at this so called 'Eren the new boss' trying to process what's going on.
Eren brings his hand up to yours to try and shake his. Took you a minute to realize what he was doing and quickly grasping his hand and going in a shaking motion.
You could see the girls expression which tells you he means a lot to her. Taking your hand back and putting it by your side still confused on what's going on.
Looking at Mr. Min trying to get an answer from him, he bows his head a little and turned to 'the new boss and his little girlfriend'
"Eren y'all go ahead I'll meet y'all in the meeting room in a minute! I have something to take care of!" Mr min says to the couple.
Them understanding and quickly leaves to go the upper floors, bodyguards following behind them. Tugging at your jacket a little feeling awkward at the moment.
"I don't understand....what's going on?" You asking the middle aged man. Mr. Min looks down for a bit and picks his head back up.
"Y/N I know it's hard to understand. I'm getting to old to take care of this company plus all the workers all by myself. So I asked my son Eren if he could do it for me." He says while trying to explain.'
he's not even that old, he's around 50 or 60. Or 40? I'm not so sure!' You tell yourself still stuck in your thoughts.
There was nothing to say, you couldn't come up with anything to say back to him. "It's okay Y/N don't strain yourself. I'll try to explain more later today!" He says while bringing his hand up and patting your shoulder.
His attention goes to the woman at the front desk. "Sorry for the interruption you can go ahead and sign the workers in!" He says to the woman.
After that he leaves to go to the meeting room where he told Eren and the others to go. You heart was hurt, it was broken. Mr. Min was everything the best boss there ever was.
If some workers were late he didn't get mad at them even if that were late more than once. He gave us more vacations then we needed! Sometimes we planned a cookout and had a party at work.
Never considered him leaving the company after everything he did for it. But now, he's leaving and letting his son take control. Fully understanding how immature his son is, making you angry but sad at the same time.
Turning to the front desk "I would...like to sign in please!" You say trying to hold back tears. She looks at you and shakes her head. "I.D please!" She says after putting something into the computer and looking up at you.
Reaching into your bag and fletching out your I.D, giving in to the woman. She slides the card into the machine, waiting for the signal. The machine clinks and beeps green signaling good to go.
She writes something into the computer before giving the I.D back to you. "Your signed it, have a nice day!" She says giving it back to you. "Thank you!" Receiving the card and keeping it in your hand.
Walking past the crowd of people waiting in line to sign into the front desk. Walking up to the security area and putting the car onto the scanner and waiting for the doors to opens.
After the monitor blinks green the door opens and on you go. Putting the card back into your bag and rushing over to the elevator before it shuts.
Entering the elevator shaft clicking the 7th button and waiting for it to reach the floor. Floor after floor after floor and finally the 7th floor!
The doors open and you can see some people already working at their cubicles. 'Before anything I have to get those papers printed'
