The Sorting

Hermione leads the students inside, into the backstage, she begins to explain the sorting.

"The sorting ceremony is preformed with the sorting hat, a magical hat that sorts you into one of the four houses: Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin. You will be sorted depending on the traits you have, and the traits you prefer. The sorting hat considers your choice too. Your house will become something like a family to you, You will eat with them, sleep in the same common room, and practically live with them, visiting the other houses are allowed, but with permission of a Prefect, a Head Girl or Boy, or a Professor. Don't let your houses down." Hermione explains carefully.

"That sounds really stupid." Kazuichi says, staring blankly at the Professor.

"Yeah, gonna agree with the baby shark." A boy with a tennis ball side shave agrees.

"Excuse me?" Kazuichi says, getting offended for the second time that night.

"Both of you settle down," The Professor says, catching everyone's attention. "Why do you think it's stupid, Mr. Souda?" She asks, wanting to hear the reason.

"I mean, Humans are complex, We have all kinds of traits, you can't just separate us because of those traits! What happens if you have traits of all the houses?" Kazuichi asks, somewhat passionately, most students were impressed.

"I believe the strange mortal is correct. This was not how it was done back in Hopes Peak Academy. We were mostly equal!" The Black and White haired boy from earlier explains.

"I call bullshit on that." The boy that agreed with Kazuichi earlier says bluntly.

"Language, Mr. Kuzuryuu!" The professor chides, slightly surprised at his profanity.

"Japanese and English." The boy snarks back. "Hopes Peak was blood purist. Pure-bloods and High Ranking Half-bloods were called Ultimates while Low Ranking Half-bloods and Muggleborns were called Reserves. Where exactly is the fairness,Tanaka?" Kuzuryuu asks, slightly glaring at Tanaka.

"Incase you fools weren't listening," Izuru begins, Getting attention to himself. "The hat sorts us on traits we have, as well as traits we appreciate, We still have a choice in the matter." Izuru repeats, Making Kazuichi, Fuyuhiko, and Gundham feel stupid.

"Thank you, The sorting is about to begin, Please make your way to the stage." The professor says, walking towards the stage.

The students follow the professor, ending up on a stage. An older boy with hair that defies gravity and a red and gold tie runs up with a stool and a run down looking hat, he then runs off to his table. The professor takes out a scroll.

"When I call your name, Walk up to the stool and put on the hat, you will then be sorted." She explains with a small smile.

"Sayonji, Hiyoko.

The blond haired girl with pigtails who looked disgusted with Hagrid earlier walked up to the stool, putting the hat on. It went silent for about 2 minutes before...

"HUFFLEPUFF!"

Hiyoko's robes changed to match her new house colors, Yellow and black.

"Owari, Akane."

A tan browned haired girl walked up to the stool, she looked like a mix of anxious and excited. She put the hat on, another short period of silence before...

"HUFFLEPUFF!"

The same thing that happened to Hiyoko happens to Akane, she goes to join her table.

"Nidai, Nekomaru."

A small scrawny looking boy with bluish-blackish hair walks up to the stool, putting the hat on, Akane giving him a thumbs up from her table. Silence until...
