Babysitting the Weasley Twins

Chapter 10

Sunlight hitting her face, Hermione slowly opened her eyes and lay in silence as she looked down at the pink haired girl beside her. Katelynn arms were wrapped around her torso and it was clear that both girls had fallen asleep wrapped in each others embrace. Hermione smiled, reminding herself to tell Percy that she stole his girlfriend. Her smile faded slightly as she remembered why her best friend was here.

Confusion was the most obvious feeling in her head right now, while anger, humiliation and sadness were all tied for second. She thought about there relationship for a few minutes, and realized that it shouldn't have come as that big of a shock. Ron was the type of person who seemed attention, as the youngest boy of 7, he was often in his brothers shadow, and Ginny, being the only girl, got more attention than all 6 boys combined. Hermione knew that that was no excuse however, for acting the way he did.

Katelynn shifted and got up, unwrapping her arms from around her beat friend and the two girls silently conversed for a few more minutes. They soon got up, got dressed and headed out into the common room, seeing the Theo in a chair as George and Fred were sitting on the love seat. Hermione sent them all a sad smile and they all walked out of the head dorms, going down to the dining hall. Katelynn sat at the Gryffindor table, as usual, and Theo went to sit between Draco and Blaise at the Slytherin table, and judging by the quick change of expression on their faces, Theo had just told them about Ron.

The four students were soon joined by Ginny, Luna (who often sat with Ginny), Dean, Seamus and Neville. Ginny was excitedly spouting about her and Harry. Hermione was looki g at the slytherin table when she saw the girl Ron was kissing the night before. Ginny stopped speaking suddenly when she saw Hermione's down expression.

"What's wrong Mione?" She asked with the concern evident in her voice. Her tone attracting the three boys attention. Hermione smiled bitterly, tears in her eyes

"Ronald. I caught him snogging Vanessa Crabbe last night." She said as she filled her plate up with food. The silence that was held at their side of the table was eerie, especially once that silence was accompanied with glares once two boys, a bespectacled one and a red headed one, sat down. Ron had his face pointed down, avoiding eye contact with everyone as Harry looked on confused.

"Why are you all glaring at Ron, what did he do this time?" He asked, his voice hinting a tone of humor as he said it, though all traces of humor left him as he heard Katelynn's next words ring in his head.

"The Bastards been cheating on Hermione, and if it weren't for her crying and Theo, he wouldn't be here right now, he would be 6 feet under ground" she glared at him, her tone full of venom. Harry turned to Ron, a hard look present on his own face.

"What?" He asked his Best male friend. Watching the redhead flinch. Ron opened his mouth to speak, but was cut off when he felt a tap on his shoulder so he turned to face the person.

SLAP!

Ron held his red cheek in shock a Draco Malfoy stood beside him. An expression of disgust clear on his pale face.

"How dare you!" He growled at the surprised boy. Everyone in the hall was silent as they watched the conflict before them.

"I- I just... she didn't.. there just wasn't a connection" Ron said pitifully. Hand still pressed to his now slightly swollen cheek. Draco shook is head and stormed away, but Ron didnt miss the deadly looks he was receiving from Theo, Blaise and Pansy from the Slytherin table. He turned his head back to look at his housemates. Even Neville had a glare on his face. Hermione just stood up with Katelynn, who was beckoning Fred and George to follow, and they walked toward the large entrance.

Before catching up to the girls, they both turned to Ron. "You are very lucky wight now Ron!"George snapped. "If we were ouw normal selves, we would have kicked your ass" Fred seethed. Although they looked like five year olds, Ron felt chills overcome him as his older brothers ran to catch up with Hermione and Katelynn.

"You really messed up mate" Dean said as he and Seamus stood up, "You really hurt her this time" Seamus glared as he and his boyfriend left.

Ron turned to is best friend and shrank under his glare, "I can't believe you. I don't know why the hell you would do something as idiotic as that, but this is the last time, you have hurt her enough already" Harry said calmly as he too rise from the table. Neville just shook his head in anger as he rose with Ginny and Luna, who was shaking her head sadly.

'You know, I don't even feel sorry for you when mum and dad hear about this. Knowing mum, she will skin you alive, and I bet you, you will be hearing from them soon, judging by the look on Percy's face up there" she scowled as she, Luna and the two boys walked away, leaving Ron at the end of the Gryffindor table alone. Thinking of Ginny's words, he looked up at Percy, who as sitting at the head table, and gulped. He was staring at Ron with an intense glare aimed at his head, but his lips began to move. Though Ron wasn't very good at reading lips, he knew what his brother was saying.
