Long story short, I explained my situation to my friends. William who was visibly irritated, started growling in anger.

"You are telling me, that you lost your memories and I didn't even knew anything?!"

I coughed and looked everywhere else but him, "That exactly what I said."

At that William clenched tightly his fists and gritted his sharp teeth, "I'm gonna kill him!"

"Hey hey, William calm down. She's okay isn't she? It's going to be fine now," voiced loudly Visus as he tried to calm the bloodthirsty vampire down.

"No it's not! He hurt our friend! How do you expect me to be calm?! How are YOU calm?!"

"Who said that I am calm... I hate this as well. But there's nothing really that I can do," spoke Visus, his fists tightened and his head looking down at the floor in deep thought.

"Just because you can't fight, doesn't mean that I can't! Sarah has been our friend for years, how do you expect me to let things slide?!"

William most definitely didn't took it lightly and I expected that much from the guy who cares more for his friends than his own well being. At that point, I could swear that his blood was boiling. Visus in the other hand was trying desperately to calm him down. He grabbed William from both of his shoulders and turned to face him.

"I said, calm down. I understand your anger and sure, that guy deserves death and punishment but it's Sarah's decision to do as she wishes with him. Also, you don't want anyone suspecting that you are a vampire, right? Calm down and don't cause any more trouble for either of us," spoke calmly Visus and let go of him. William in the other hand let out a growl and messed up his hair. A few silent curses escaping his mouth.

"Okay. Fine. I won't do anything...," murmured William and he finally let out a long sigh to calm his nerves down, "But you should know that if you ever need anything, both me and Visus are always here for you...because that's what friends do."

I smiled warmly at him but it quickly drifted away. A dreadful feeling of guilt washing over me, "Thank you guys... I really mean it. But that's my problem to take care of. I wouldn't like to see any of you getting hurt. And it's partly my fault... I could had already killed him but I just... I just couldn't bring my self to do it."

"I let my feelings get in my way again..."

"Well, even if it's like that, we are still here to kill him instead if you ever wish to. You can count on us!" noted William with now a big grin plastered on his face.

"Well, you can always ask William. Not me," added Visus while pointing at the vampire with a calm demeanor.

"You are useless. We know," replied almost immediately William and my eyes softened. Their attempt to make me feel better actually worked and caused me to let out a lighthearted laugh. It didn't take long for the other two to join me as well. The atmosphere around us much lighter and carefree.

I raised my gaze to meet their eyes and small flashbacks of our friendship flashed before me, "You guys... I missed you!!" I exclaimed loudly and took them both into a tight embrace. They jumped sightly, not used to me being that touchy with them, but still, they were quick enough to return the hug.
