With skin raw and red,
The sting was as if someone was cutting his skin open. Salting the open wound. The cry barely left his lips, as the overwhelming pain clouded his mind. Yoongi knew he should move. He wanted to move. He wanted to run. He want to hide. But he couldn't. He couldn't do any of the actions, as his body felt as if it was paralyzed with pain. And the pain only increased. Slowly, and gradually it was like his skin was being stripped of his body. He couldn't open his eyes. He didn't need to know what was causing the pain. And neither did he want to risk opening his eyes lest he be blinded.
The tear that rolled down his cheeks only stung further more. He didn't want to cry, but his tears rolled down anyways. Yoongi clenched his jaw together, and sucked in a sharp breath. He had move. He had to get inside. He had to find shade. He couldn't die. Not yet.
He could've sworn that the pain had decreased a little. But he wasn't sure if it was truly the case, or if it's mind was playing tricks on him. Either way, he managed to push himself off the ground, and struggle up to his feet.
"Joon!" Yoongi cried out. Hoping his voice was loud enough. There was no way for him to know, for all he could hear was the loud booming of his heartbeat. He stumbled forward as he tried to take a step. But he didn't fall down.
"Joon!" He cried out once again. Then a fear settled in, that Namjoon might not be close enough to hear him. He could call Jungkook. The youngest was sure to hear him, but Yoongi didn't. Jungkook was born during the darkest of the night, there was no way he would be able to bear this. And Yoongi couldn't risk the youngest's health, even if his life depended on it.
This time, Yoongi knew the pain had decreased. He could open his eyes just enough to spot the door a few meters ahead of him. He didn't know how it was possible but the sun's glare seemed to have decreased. But right now, wasn't the time to think of it. Yoongi took another step forward. No matter how much his body was begging him to give up and accept his fate.
The sun's glare seemed to decrease even more as he was able to open his eyes a bit more. He was so close, so close to put an end to the pain. So close, and yet it was too far for him. His vision blurred once again. His legs trembled, as his breaths turned shallow. He couldn't breathe. Each intake of air felt like gasoline to the burning fire inside of him.
He was too weak. He felt too weak to take a step further. To walk the distance he needed to. He stretched out his hand, hoping to grasp onto anything that he could use to pull himself forward. And he did hold onto something. He did feel his fingers curl around something and a sharp pain shot up his arms. He let out another weak cry. His throat far too parched to scream out loud in agony. Yoongi didn't try to resist as he felt something wrap around his waist. A numbing pain coursing through his body. If the situation had been a little different he would've surprised at the fact that he could see feel the pain. That he was still conscious.
