NANDINI'S POV

"Hello guys! Hey Nandini." came a voice from behind and then the bitch came into view as Manik stepped aside.

I looked up at the sky n a desperate need of washing my eyes with cold acid i mean helloo.. seriously is anyone up there.. anyone who can answer me why the fuck can i not ever be at peace.

"Who is that bitch?" Sofie came by my side and whispered.

"Bet a new whore of him." Mukti replied rolling her eyes.

"Well she is an all in one package of fuck my life but currently i have no idea of their status." i replied back in honesty as Navyas gave me a sleep apologetic smile as soon as Katie grabbed her in her arms and hugged the living shit out of my best friend. First My Boyfriend and now My Best Friend. This girl is gonna go to hell and get deep fried.

"Hey Navya!! I have heard so much about you and i was soo excited to meet the girl who swooped up Cabir from the floor." she spoke in a sugar coated voice, only if they all knew her true side.

"Oh i guess thanks." Navya flushed and Katie turned to face me.

"Long time no see huh." she gave me a smile. Oh common on don't act all nice to me.

"And i wasn't even planning on." i gave a sarcastic reply when Mukti poked her elbow to my ribcage in order to shut me up.

"Still fiesty." she said giving Manik a look. Oh don't you dare look at my man. I mean whatever.

"Oh you're Austin right. i have seen you in so many brands." she hugged Austin. Oh come on why does she need all my guys.

"Yeah it's good to see you too." Austin scratched his neck. Wait is he feeling flushed by her. Do i see sparks.

"Katie is gonna be my plus one and trust me Navya she has the best taste in fashion. She'll be of great help." Manik spoke boasting the devil's ego.

"Oh come on Manik i'll be happy to help her, afterall Cabir is my friend too." she grabbed his arm as she leaned into him while giving me the exact same look she gave me at the ball when Manik chose her over me for the dance.

"So cool. We're all set so let's not waste anymore time. I'll get in contact with the venue for a final talk and Manik you up for decor then we can discuss some ideas." i interrupted the flirty little scenario and made my way out with my phone and the others got busy too. I hope i get done with this wedding without any murder on my hands.

MANIK'S POV

It was the look that gave me the surity that i was right. Nandini was jealous. She still felt something for me. I unlocked my phone as i swiped through a few pictures that i took while she used to be busy in her work. The pictures she never knew existed, something that had kept me going on in the past few days. A cough from behind caught my attention as i turned around and faced Katie.

"I hope i don't get killed because of you." Katie stood beside me after handling me my beer can.

"WEll i can't guarantee that." i laughed trying to keep a straight face.

"Excuse me. Don't you dare do that. First you call me over unannounced and then you tell me to act for you. All this just to make that stupid girl jelous." she snarled and the word stupid got my attention. Only nobody says a thing to my girl.

"Don't you dare speak a word against her." i grabbed her arm and pulled her closer to me threatening her with my eyes. 

" You're here because there was a time when you had the upperhand on me but now things have changed Katie. Now i am the one who has his upperhand on you so that makes you the puppet who has to agree to whatever i say. Do you get that." i warned
