"What…" Kate groaned in pain, the headache that she had experienced being way too strong for her to handle. She moved her hand towards her head, the headache going strong and not easing up. She fluttered her eyes, trying to open them but to no avail. She could see a shadow in front of her, that much she knew. But she didn't know where she was sent in the past. All she knew was that it was supposed to be before the death of presidential candidate Robert Kelly. "Who…" It was then that Kate finally managed to open her eyes a bit further, immediately noticing the blue skinned elf mutant. She immediately knew that it was Kurt Wagner, also known as Nightcrawler, someone that has also been killed in her time. "Kurt! It is you! You're alive!"

"Of… course, I'm alive" Kate chuckled at the confused face of Nightcrawler. She chuckled amused by the current expression made by the teleporting blue skinned mutant. She had never been so happy in her life, her happiness having died when Peter died and her remaining happiness vanishing when her own daughter died as well. "What else would I be?"

"I'm in the medlab. In the mansion in Westchester…" Kate said, gasping in excitement. It had been some time since she had seen everyone that was dear to her. People that she missed because of the Sentinels that were destroying their future bit by bit. She needed to make things right, and she was already on the course to do so.

"Kitty, you aren't making sense. Lie down, little one. Rest now" Kate shook her head, the smile on her face never leaving as she stood up. Determination entered her soul as she knew that this was the moment of truth, the moment where she would do what she needed to do ever since the start. She needs to save the day and apologize, one way or another with Peter.

"I can't. There is no time!" Kitty said, making her way off of the stretcher she was in. But when her eyes looked towards more people of her past, she couldn't help but smile at them as well. "Angel! Ororo! Piotr!" Kate stopped walking in front of the approaching trio. She was happy to see all three of them, especially Warren because it had been sometime ever since she had seen the man's angelic wings. "This is incredible! Rachel said she do it, but in my heart of hearts, I didn't believe she could pull it off"

"Who is Rachel?" Kate's smile began to disappear, remembering that she needed to act now if she wanted to talk with her husband for a bit. But while that was on her mind, she was trying to remember each and every single detail of what had happened during the thirty years that the Sentinels were causing chaos all around them and the twenty years that she had not been able to be with her husband and her daughter.

"Pull what off, Kitten?" Kate shook her head slightly, remembering the times when Ororo used to call her Kitten. It was a nice way of reaquanticing with the nickname, she had forgotten just how it felt to be called in such a way. But she was Kate now, she was a woman… a widow. And she wanted to reunite herself with her husband.

"'Kitten'... It's been years since you called me that" Kate said, watching as everyone in the room began to give her concerned looks. She just ignored those looks, concentrating on the fact that time was short and the little time she had was to be able to talk with her husband again. Something that she has been anticipating and fearing for quite some time.

"Kitty, child, are you alright?" Kate nodded at her words but not really calming Ororo down, which was something that Katherine noticed. She needed to convince Ororo that whatever she said was true, because if time was spent on trying to make her believe… she would implode in anger. She needed to see her husband as soon as she could, and tell him everything.

"I'm fine, Ororo. But I'm not Kitty… not the one that you know at least. This body is inhabited by the mind, the persona, the soul of the woman I'll be in thirty years" Kate explained, gaining widened eyes from everyone minus Ororo. Kate could still see the concerned eyes that Ororo Munroe had in her face, something that she knew that she had to change as fast as she could. But the expression that Ororo kept on giving her was making her slightly angry. She wanted to head out to find her husband as fast as she could, she could not keep on waiting to see him once more any longer. She wanted to feel the calmness that he was always able to make her feel once more. He always made her feel safe, something that she had truly missed throughout the years. “I’m from the future”
