Apple White stormed off to her room. "Ashlynn should've listened to me!" she grumbled under her breath. "Now everything's ruined and she'll never find her happily ever after! Rebel!"

But she tried, as hard as it was, that Ashlynn Ella was just following her heart. She was just doing what her heart told her too. She wasn't being a Rebel, really. She was just being herself. And there was nothing wrong with that. If Ashlynn wanted to date Hunter Huntsman, then that was her choice and there was nothing that Apple could do to change her mind.

Apple remembered the heart she had given to Ashlynn. "That was the sign of true friendship," she muttered. But she couldn't help but feel betrayed by her friend, or whatever Ashlynn was now. "She's a friend. True friendship, remember Apple. Ashlynn is a true friend."

She opened her door and stormed inside of her dorm. She flopped down on her fluffy bed. It had a red canopy curtain draped over it and a white frame and mattress. Laces of gold twisted around the bed and mirrors lined the walls. The faintest scent of cinnamon and apple danced in her nose, filling the room with a pleasing aroma. Raven's side of the room looked nice too (considering Apple had decorated it) except it looked evil. Where apples had been placed the stone, ominous purple rhinestones were set. Where her red and white throne would've sat on Raven's half of the room was a dark and creepy throne, that practically reeked of evil.

"Oh, Ashlynn!" Apple cried, to no one but herself. "Why did you have to do that? Why did you have to leave me and my friends for... for... for Hunter!" she sobbed. Her throat ached from tears and her face was damp. The snot was smothering her throat, bringing to life the taste of mucus. First Raven, now Ashlynn. "Why doesn't anyone care about finding happily ever after?"

Apple, still crying, sat up and smoothed the wrinkles from her dress. Her hair had developed a few knots and Apple brushed them out. "Rebels, Rebels, Rebels, that's all there is! I want to go back to the world where it's just Royals! Why can't we find happily ever after without Rebels or-"

Apple abruptly broke off as she heard the door open. No one must know how I truly feel about destiny! She hoped they hadn't figured out her strictly Royal philosophy.

"Apple?" It was Raven's voice. "Apple? Are you okay?"

Apple sighed dramatically. "No! Ashlynn just chose Hunter over her destiny and me... and her happily ever after! How could she do that to me?" Apple wailed. "You get it, don't you Raven?"

Raven hesitated. "Well.. yes. I get that you're going through something, Apple, but maybe you should just let Ashlynn choose her own destiny. You'll always be friends, whether she's dating Hunter or not, whether she's a Royal or a Rebel."

Apple brushed a tear from her face. "How can you say that?! Our destinies are the reason we have happily ever afters! It's the reason why I become queen and you are evil! And now Ashlynn doesn't believe in her destiny! Things will never be the same, Raven!" she yelled.

"Look, Apple," Raven began. "Maybe you need to trust other people to choose their own endings. Ashlynn can handle herself."

Apple turned her back on Raven. "Fine!" she shouted. "I'm going to sleep now!" She laid down in her bed and pulled the covers over her, lying on her side so that her back was to Raven.

She heard Raven sigh. "Alright. Goodnight, Apple." She turned out the light and there was a shuffling sound of her getting into bed.

Apple thought about what Raven had told her. Maybe you need to trust other people to choose their own endings. But if they did that... then how were they supposed to find happily ever after. Nothing would be safe and their whole world would be in chaos!

But Ashlyn would be fine. She didn't need Apple and the Royals. They would still be friends, as much as the thought of being friends with a Rebel disgusted her. I should mind my own business and let Ashlynn handle her own.

Yes. Ashlynn will be fine. I know that it's dangerous for her to become a Rebel and she may never find happily ever after. But she's happy now with Hunter. Maybe I should just respect her decision and move on. That would make her really happy.

I guess it will make me happy too.
