"My legs, why did I think this was a good idea" Jani held her knees breathing in and out, we just raced a mile since she was talking all that rah rah yesterday knowing she can't outrun me.

"Nigga please, my Usain Bolt mode wasn't activated yet" I laughed taking a sip from my water. It was a comfortable silence, it's like she was zoned out for a second.

"Am I trippin or it looks like a dog is running towards us?"

"Look bruh, oh shit" I looked closely seeing a Rottweiler coming at us full force.

"Activate that Usain Bolt shit now, bring ya ass" we both ran as fast as we could, the dog wasn't close but if we slowed down for a split second our asses would be chopped.

Taking a sharp left, we ended up at her apartment, good thing she lived on the ground floor because niggas was not tryna climb stairs fr. After trying to catch our breaths, we made eye contact and bust out laughing.

"Dawg that was wild" she held her stomach

"I swear yo" I laughed taking off my wristbands and sitting them on a counter. Watch how this plays out, man this shit is too easy.

"Oh? What do we have here? I haven't heard that laugh in a minute" a lady who looked about 40 sumn walked into the living room area

"Marjani I'm serious, that was a real laugh and I'm proud of you. But anyways, you guys are all sweaty and have school in an hour or so... go take showers, prepare your wonderful minds for the day, all that good stuff. Will I be seeing more of you Mr. DayDay?"
