LISA'S POV
"Guess what came in the mail, you guys!" Jennie's mom announces. She walks over to us, handing us big packages
Jennie and I look at each other in excitement because the package has the name of one of the colleges we both applied to a while back
I knew Jennie was going to apply to the college and she tried to convince me for days to apply as well, in the end, she won
I didn't think I would get in at all, but Jennie always had faith for the both of us
"SEE! I WAS RIGHT!" Jennie said happily making everyone chuckled
"Well, hurry up you two, open the packages!" Jennie's dad tells us
Jennie opens the package first and digs inside for the letter; she finds it and immediately opens it to read it
Her face lights up in pure joy and I know she got in
"Open yours! Open your Lisayah!" She begs
I hesitate before opening the package and looking for the letter
I grab it and hold it in my hands, refusing to open it
"What if I don't accept? What if they don't want me?"
"I'm pretty sure they want you, otherwise they wouldn't send a big package," Jennie's dad said causing Jennie's mom to elbow him in the stomach to shut up
"Lisa, this is the one time my dad is right. Of course, the school wants you, you're the most amazing person" Jennie encourages
I slowly open the letter and read the first line
Dear Lisa
We are proud to inform you that you have been accepted...
That's as far as I read before jumping up from pure joy, Jennie gets to give me a tight hug and her parents do the same after as well
"We are so proud of the two of you!" Jennie's mom announces
"How about we go celebrate after talking to the doctor and nurses to get Jennie out of here?" Jennie's dad suggested and we all agree
Jennie's parents walk out of the room and Jennie gets up to change out of the hospital gown
"I'm so excited! Aren't you excited?"
I can't help but laugh at her enthusiasm and then I walk over to her when she is done changing and wrap my arms around her waist
"Yes, I'm so excited to graduate and go to college with the love of my life"
Jennie smiles and kisses me passionately. She breaks away from the kiss to say "I have a lot to tell Jisoo"
"She is going to love all the juicy gossip" I teased
"Yup, I also need to thank her again for pushing me to tutor you" Jennie added
"Thank god I sucked at chemistry" I laugh
"Well, it's a good thing you are going to have a chemist girlfriend"
"Can't wait, love. Did you know that chemists do it on the table periodically" Jennie rolls her eyes at me and I can't help but smirk at her
"I love that damn smirk so much," she said before wrapping her arms around my neck and pulling me in for a kiss
