With so much turmoil, I opened my eyes and quickly scan the surroundings. The last memory my head remembers is how he wished me to disappear.
"A-Almario..." Isang luha ang nalaglag sa gilid ng mata ko.
The ceiling is what my eyes are looking at but my mind clearly flashing how his car drove away from me.
He's disgusted by my existence. Ang sakit isipin. Lalo na't alam ko naman simula palang sa una na dalawa lang ang kababagsakan ng lahat.
It's either I succeed or I fall.
But on the second thought, I did know the secret, but did I succeed?
"Gising na siya!"
Mula sa ceiling, I look at the door. Jam looks exhilarated and surprise that she finally saw me awake.
"H-Ha? Sandali!" Rinig kong sigaw ni Rod mula sa labas.
It didn't take long when Mary, Rod, and ate Terry entered the room. Naka tulala lang akong naka tingin sa kanila, while they gave me worried look.
"CA! Akala ko hindi kana magigising," Rod hugs me habang sinusubukan kong umupo.
Why do I feel like I don't have blood in my veins? Parang walang kabuhay buhay ang katawan ko.
"G-Gutom ka ba? May gusto ka bang kainin?" I can hear awkwardness from Mary's voice.
Nahihiya man sa kanila ay sinagot ko pa rin siya.
"I...I feel dehydrated," I said in a low and shy voice.
Nahihiya ako sa kanila. By this time, Rod most probably said somethings already. But I know I still need to explain, feed their curiosity, and answer each of their questions.
"H-Hala sandali," Jam moves quick and get my tumbler for me, nilagyan muna niya ng water bago maingat na inabot sa akin. "Yan na."
"S-Salamat,"
They're silently watching me as I hydrate myself. Dahil siguro sa pagod, I finish the tumbler and didn't leave even a single drop.
"L-Labas muna ako." Ate Terry said. Tinanguan nila siya bago siya lumabas.
The room was filled with silence after that. No one wants to speak first but I can feel how much they want to talk and throw series of questions.
Nang walang gustong maunang mag salita ay ako na ang nagkusa.
"My real name is Calla Amorett, the eldest of Clara Buenaventura." Pakilala ko sa sarili ko.
