your first kiss

"Thank you for walking me home. I've had so much fun tonight." You told Chaewon as your house came into sight.

"My pleasure." She smiled. "I've had a lot of fun too. It was definitely the best first date I've ever had."

She watched as that beautiful smile tugged at your lips and she felt her heart flutter.

You always manage to do that to her.

You give her this feeling of utter happiness that she's never felt before and never in her life has she felt her heart flutter as much as it does when you're around.

"I have tomorrow off if you'd like to go out again..." She said and stared at you with sparkling eyes full of hopefulness.

"I'd love to, Chaewon." You smiled again and it only grew as she giggled happily.

"We went out for dinner tonight so maybe we could go out for ice cream and then go for a walk through the park or along the beach if you'd like that."

"I'd love that!"

She breathed out a sigh of relief.

She feels comfortable with you.

You make her happy, happier than she's felt in so long.

But she always wonders if you'd like to go out and do the things she suggests, afraid that her date night ideas might be silly or something.

But that sparkle in your eyes when you told her you'd love what she suggested told her you genuinely wanted to go out for a cute date like that and she was already so excited.

"Oh, this is my house here." You said as you nodded to your house.

You both felt a pang of sadness upon realizing you'd already reached your house and your date had come to an end.

Even though you'll see each other again tomorrow, you're both feeling sad that tonight has already ended.

"Thank you for everything tonight. I really loved it." You said as you walked up to your front porch, your hand still intertwined with Chaewon's.

"Me too." She said.

You bit your lip and stared into each other's eyes.

"Tell me honestly... if I were to kiss you, which I so badly want to right now, would I be moving too fast for you?" She asked and your heart started to race with excitement.

"No... because I want to kiss you too."

She smiled and stepped right in front of you. She put one of her hands on your cheeks and looked from your eyes and to your lips.

She watched you lean in and did the same and then, your lips met for the first time.

You felt the sparks flying around you as her lips moved in perfect sync with yours.

The kiss wasn't too passionate or deep. It was loving and sweet. It was... perfect. It was just as you imagined... but somehow, even better.

She dropped your hand to cup your other cheek, her heart skipping beat after beat in her chest.

You pulled away a moment later to try to catch your breath.

She put her forehead onto yours and you grinned at each other.

"I'm crazy for you already."

"Same here." You whispered and kissed her again and she happily moved her lips against yours once more.

"I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Yes." You smiled and she pecked your lips a few times before pulling away.

"Bye, babe," she said and took your hand into hers again.

She didn't drop it until she was too far away to keep holding it.

She made sure you got inside safely before she waved goodbye and blew you a kiss.

You leaned against your front door, swearing you've never felt happier.

You already can't wait for tomorrow to come.
