"Kookie-ah, come out and eat. You've been stuck in there forever!"

I groan and roll over on my bed, "Eommaaaaa, I'm not in the mood"

I hear a sigh before footsteps retreat.

What do I do now?

I know about Yujin and her family. I swore to never get close with her again, but now I'm regretting it. Ignoring her, and blocking her off.

I just need time to think.

So what if she has messed up parents? Does that make her messed up too? Is it like a genetic thing or...?

I yell and stuff my face into my pillow again.

It's been a couple days since I found out and let's just say I've been doing the same thing everyday. Being miserable in bed.

I really like Yujin and this absence only proved that to me.

I just need to find a way to work this out with her, but she hasn't tried reaching out at all.

A knock at the door interrupts my thoughts.

"Eomma! I said I'm not hu-"

"Jeon Jungkook"

I snap my head towards the voice and see the one and only Park Jimin standing in front of me. Strangely, I don't mind his presence, and I actually long for the comfort of my childhood best friend.

He sees the confusion in my eyes and smiles hesitantly, "Jin told me you needed some clarity on... the whole soulmate thing"

I nod, to his surprise, "I do. Let's say you knew a girl and you uh- really liked her. But then... there was like a genetic disease that ran in her famil-"

"I already know you're talking about Choi Yujin, so talk to me bluntly if you actually want my advice"

I gulp and scoff, "Was I the only one who didn't know about her?"

"No, nobody else knows, it's just that her parents and mine are kinda in... kahoots with each other" he looks down.

"I just... don't know if I should pursue this relationship, I don't want to split up like her-"

Jimin waves his hands, stopping me, "Do you like her?"

"Yes" The automatic response surprises even me.

Jimin slyly smiles, "Then get with her. Who cares what society thinks?"

The way he made it sound so simple solves everything. Jimin knows me, we'd been friends for years before I... cut him off because of his history.

Jimin continues speaking, "And just so you know, I found my soulmate"

I stare at him with wide eyes as he keeps talking.
