(Days later, midnight.)
Meanwhile, upon one of the surrounding hills that overlooked the city of Phokus, Hyperion and Aurelian looked down upon the city, observing and watching as the city was getting ready to evacuate and migrate away from this foul, accursed placed and find a new home on new, unclaimed lands. Khars looked down and with his own two eyes he can see everything in perfect detail: He saw families starting to pack all their belongings on carts or else leaving most of what they couldn't carry with them behind and only taking their essentials with them. However he could also see the soldiers of this city starting to arm themselves with their weapons and armor, soldiers of the city arming themselves for what would be a battle soon enough. The Mercenaries too, perhaps being amused or simply wishing for the opportunity for a quick pay day also started to arm themselves. No dought wishing to get a share of the spoils.Hyperion was not human and this much was obvious and with his nigh perfect and unmatched eyesight he could see in perfect detail what was happening. This city was about to be abandoned, warriors armed themselves with bronze weapons, some of whom even wielded weapons of Hittite or Egyptian or even Assyrian origins such as the Khopesh or any other sword acquired through trade with the rest of the Kingdoms.
The Seiptii also put the rest of the City's population into action and while they were getting ready to migrate, the Seiptii were smart in that they prepared all the necessary food and water required for the march, collecting all the City's remaining food and scavenging any food that they could find before placing them in baskets or containers, where in they salted to preserve them for as long as possible.
Hyperion than said
"Hm. Look's like the Seiptii have a migration plan in mind."Hyperion than looked at his father, Aurelian, who was standing with him also observing the events before transpiring before them and there he said
"Indeed, however I expect that their leader: a woman named Penelope knows what she is doing, nor would I expect that they would find much difficulty."Hyperion than replied
"I see... So you expect them to survive the journey ahead? Through the lands of Illyria and into Italia?""Yes." answered Aurelian
"The Seiptii have proven themselves to be excellent warriors and they indeed have a warrior's fighting spirit and skill with each and every one of them. I know that the world beyond this fragile Kingdoms is full of Barbarians and is dangerous to travel to, but I have a feeling that if anyone can make the journey it'll be the Seiptii."Hyperion than chuckled before saying
"I see that I'm not the only one who sees that, the Mycenaeans, Hittites and Egyptians are not long for this world. This age is close to ending and while the Seiptii will not see it, this age is sure to collapse one day."Hyperion than continued and he explained
"I'm sure that you've noticed this as well, father. Year by year crops are failing and though no one could see it, slowly and year by year crop yields get smaller and smaller, soon there will be a massive problem in regards to food and it is likely that a famine will occur, the weather is also starting to change for the worse, further adding to the problem."
Hyperion than started the chuckle once again before he said...
"And yet, the population of this Kingdoms only seem to grow and grow as time goes by and this world is far too reliant on trade, centralised authority and perhaps even each other to keep themselves in balance."Hyperion than looked up at the night sky and he than pointed at the moon
"Like the moon, this age will end someday soon. It is like a sun diel and if anyone of those pieces fall apart than this Kingdoms will crumble very quickly indeed."Aurelian than said
"I know such a thing..." he answered
"I have noticed all that which you said, there is far more to the story than you think, but there will be a time of ending for this Kingdoms and after that collapse will be a Dark age the likes of which will almost see this Kingdoms be erased and eradicated from history."
