Two days after that, Pietro finally got better, making everyone relieved and free from worry, but it didn't last long because Pietro couldn't respond to anything or anyone at all.

He couldn't even speak.

Hank tried to calm everyone, especially Erik, he said that it was normal and would pass soon. And sure enough after about a week, little by little Pietro started talking, responding to the people around him even though sometimes with a little difficulty when doing so, he still slurred when talking.

Then Erik helped him to walk, Erik slowly led him. Pietro fell into Erik's arms several times, even Erik was afraid when he let go of him to walk by himself.

"I can't do this, I-I can't control my legs," said Pietro, his hand was still holding on to Erik's hand.

"You can do it, Pietro, I know you can," said Erik.

Still learning to walk properly, speak properly. Erik almost drove himself crazy with worry every time Pietro complined about the throbbing in his head.

Hank had given him some medication that would help, Of course with a dose that has been adjusted so that it can work in his body's system.

Erik obviously couldn't stay in the Mansion for long, he had to go back to Genosha. And he would certainly bring Pietro home.

It took months for Pietro to recover. Ordinary people would probably take years for it and they might not even be able to fully recover.

"Have you taken your medicine?" Erik asked Pietro who was eating an apple.

"Do I still have to take medicine? I'm okay now," Pietro replied.

"You still had seizures two weeks ago," Erik crossed his arms.

Pietro just snorted and shrugged his shoulders.

"Well.....This week, it didn't happen to me," said Pietro, biting his apple again.

He always felt really bad after having a seizure, and he hated having to make his father see that.

Erik didn't want to accept any rejection or silly excuses from Pietro, like it or not, no matter how bad the taste of the medicine was, he still needed it.
