Shiyuki's POV
"I'll get a bunch of flowers as usual, please!"
"You two visit Lee-san again, eh?" Ino gives us a grin.
As we wait for Ino, Tenten asks me.
"You don't wanna see how's Neji doing?"
"Nah. What he doing is none of my concern. Plus, I hope that Naruto will beat him, then he'll wake up from his Destiny thing."
"Don't lie to yourself!" She giggles.
"Hmph. And he doesn't even care if I visit him or not. So coming to see him is a waste of time."
Yes. If I have time to see Neji-kun, I'd rather practise or pay a visit to my best friends Lee and Hinata.
We reach Lee's room. However, Lee's not here. Where has he gone?! Me and Tenten are about to split to find him when someone screams.
"Stop! What are you doing?!"
It's from the hospital's backyard. Lee is doing push-up and a nurse is trying to stop him.
"Lee-kun! Please stop it! Your body isn't-"
"Please be quiet for a bit!!"
We quickly head downstair to where Lee is. Lee, you are pushing yourself too hard. I know that you want to beat them - Sasuke, Naruto, Gaara and of course, Neji-kun - but...
Lee collapses before we can come and help him.

Lee finally wakes up. He looks around, then stops his gaze on us.
"Tenten, Shiyuki..."
"Lee, take a rest." Tenten speaks up,
"Lee, I have faith that you will definitely be a ninja once again. A good doctor will come and cure you. Just don't push yourself like that."
"No, I must do my best... I'm not finished yet..."
"You sure are insistent, Lee."
"Just like you, Shiyuki. You insisted to continue your ninja way even if you got beaten quite hard by him. You still have feeling for Neji even if-"
"Hey!!"
I madly blush, then sigh in depression together with Lee.
A long silence among us. We don't know what to say.
"O-Oh right, Lee! Will you come with me to watch Neji and Shiyuki's matches?" Tenten breaks the ice.
"I will." Lee smiles. He finally cheers up.
While I'm coming back home from the hospital, I bump into Neji-kun.
"Try your best to beat that Sound ninja." His cocky attitude drives me mad.
"Fine. I hope that you'll lose against Naruto, you arrogant bastard."
"You-!" He's so pissed off that his Byakugans are automatically on. "Pathetic."
If Naruto wins, will Neji-kun escape from the cage named 'Destiny'? Will he realize something and change his attitude? I strongly believe that the answer is 'Yes'. It's not that I don't want you, my teammate, to be promoted. You hate me, that's ok. But please wake up. You're suffering so much from that 'Fate'.

It's one month since the preliminary test. The final round of the Chunin exam has come.
I look around. Wow, so many people are watching us! Wait, where's my opponent Dosu?
"Hey, relax." The referee, a man with a stick in his mouth, talks to us. Oh yeah, it's tense here.
Temari, the girl that defeated Tenten, is here too. She and I are the only girls down here. She must be very strong-
"Thanks everyone for coming to the Hidden Leaf Chunin selection exam!!"
The Hokage's voice cuts my thought.
"We will now start the main tournament matches between the 9 participants who made it through the preliminaries. Please stay and watch til the end!!"
9? Isn't it supposed to be 10?
"There's something I'd like to tell you before the matches. Look at this." The referee shows us a sheet of paper.
It says that after Temari and Shikamaru's match, the winner will continue to fight me. Dosu gave up?
"There have been some minor changes to the tournament. Check once again to see who you're fighting."
Naruto asks something about Sasuke, then the referee reminds us of the rule.
"Now the first fight, Uzumaki Naruto, Hyuga Neji. Those two stay here while the rest of you go to the waiting room."
As I'm going to the waiting room, I wonder if Lee and Tenten come to watch us. Is Lee better?
Naruto looks at his opponent with determined eyes.
"Looks like you have something to say." Neji-kun notices that.
"I told you before. You're definitely going down!!"
"Now, the first fight!! Begin!!"
Both get on their stance.
"Heh, that's what makes it worth while... It will be fun to watch you fall apart when you discover the reality."
"Stop all the blabbering!! Let's fight!!"
