"Hi" he took his menu and started looking through it.
"I'm starving."
"These prices are pretty thirsty too."
"I thought we were going to discuss important issues so I wanted to go to a place with plenty of privacy and don't worry I'll get the bill."
"I wasn't worried and no I'm paying."
"I invited you here it's only fair if I pay."
He sighed realising I wasn't going to let this go. A waiter came and took our orders and poured us a glass of wine each.
"This feels like a date." He joked and I laughed.
"So I figured a way to get me out of the picture and that would be my dad."
"What are you talking about?"
"Well you know Ell-"
"Here's your food." The waiter interrupted us and gave us both our servings and then disappeared.
"As I was saying, Ella,Dee's mother. I just found out earlier that she was sleeping with my dad."
"Found out how?"
"I found them there in my bed doing it."
He looked at me shocked and I nodded.
"I had told him earlier to stay away from her but he never listened so now I'll plant it on him. I'll go to see someone tomorrow and let you know how it goes. "
"I'm actually surprised at how well you've handled everything. " he complimented and I smiled.
"How have you been by the way?" I asked.
"I'm okay. Surprised you didn't come with your friend."
"No way. everytime I hang out with him I have a hangover the next day and tomorrow is very important for me."
"About yesterday -"
"What about it?"
"When I said you weren't my type-"
"I get that point you don't need to repeat it. I'm sorry for what I said."
"Well actually-"
"Just don't. At least not right now."
"Okay. I get it." He said in a low tone.
"Hey do you want to go hang out at my place?" I offered and he accepted.

We got to my place and I put on a movie. It started to roll and I sat down near him and brought some popcorn as well.
Unfortunately I didn't check to see which movie and we were watching fifty shades freed. Fml.
"Oh my God. Let me change it. "
"No leave it. We're already comfortable here anyway."
I sat back down and we continued to watch the movie.
