Distraught

Finally Peace...

Marinette is now lying on the floor struggling to breath. Every breath is hurting and every breath is shorter than the one before. 

Marinette grunts as she tries to get up

Marinette: t-to you- i-i may be h-helpless m-Marinette Dupain Cheng. B-But i-i am s-stronger than y-you know. V-Vespiribug, s-summon y-your m-miraculous l-lady b-bugs a-and f-fix this mess. 

Vespiribug: of course. MIRACULOUS LADYBUG. Tikki, Pollen Separate. 

Lila: Give me those earrings right now.

Chat: I wouldn't do that if i was you. 

Lila: Why not. Ladybug isn't here. 

Marinette gets up and tightly ties a cloth around her waist sustaining the wound. Marinette then takes the earrings and puts them back on without Lila noticing. 

Marinette: H-Hey rag doll. 

Lila: Huh?

Marinette: I am Ladybug. 

Chat: That's right she is Ladybug mother fu- 

Marinette: CHAT. 

Chat: Sorry. heh 

Marinette limps towards Lila.

Marinette: You deserve everything that is coming to you Miss Rossi. You and Mr. Agreste.

Lila: N-No please. 

The police and paramedics arrive on scene. they assess and take care of all the students. They take Marinette to the hospital yet again to heal from the damage Lila has done.

Adrien: At least you are getting better Mari. 

Marinette: Yes. we have to address the public can we organise a press conference?

Adrien: Yes that's easy for Chat Noir. 

Two weeks pass and all the reporters and citizens of Paris are at the base of the Eiffel Tower or tuning for Ladybug and Chat Noir. 

Mayor Bourgeois: Hello my fellow Parisians. I'd like to welcome our beloved hero's Ladybug and Chat Noir to the podium. 

Chat Noir: Hi everyone!!! Thankyou for tuning in at home and coming here today.

Reporter 1: Why have you called us here today?

Ladybug: Myself and the other heroes have finally defeated Shadowmoth and Mayura. 

Reporter 2: Does this mean the end of our heroes? 

Reporter 3: Does this mean that Paris is safe from all evil?

Reporter 4: Are you leaving us defenseless now? 

Chat Noir: Please. Please. Myself and Ladybug would not leave Paris unsupervised. 

Ladybug: We will stay. For all we know there could still be possible evil. 

Chat Noir: You will not be left defenseless. You will not be left scared. And you will not be left distraught. 

Ladybug: For we are Ladybug and Chat Noir. The guardians of Paris. 

Reporter 5: Who were Shadowmoth and Mayura? 

Reporter 6: Have you retrieved their miraculous? 

Alya: The Ladyblog would like to know if Ladybug and Chat Noir will always be watching?

Ladybug: Shadowmoth and Mayura's identities are being kept quiet for now until we find out their full motive. Their Miraculous are safe with me and no one shall possess them unless it is in power for good use. 

Chat Noir: We don't know what is out there awaiting us but for all we know. We will always be watching and protect Paris. 

Ladybug: No further questions. Thankyou. BUG OUT. 

Chat Noir and Ladybug leave the press conference and de transform.

Adrien: Hey Mari? 

Marinette: Yes Adrien?

Adrien: Would you go out with me? 

Marinette: ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW? OF COURSE. 

Marinette jumps into his arms hugging him tightly. 

Adrien: You are truly miraculous Marinette. *Winks*

Marinette: Are you sure you aren't distraught kitty? 

Adrien: Mari. Do you think there is more evil out there?

Marinette: I'm not sure. are you ok though?

Adrien: I will be soon enough. 

Marinette and Adrien sit and stare at the sunset knowing that what they have done is the right thing. but little do they know this isn't the end of evil in Paris. Its something different.
