"Good Evening, Ladies and Gentlemen. We are now arriving at Station 4. If this is not your destination, please standby for safety measures. Thank you. I repeat, we are now arriving at Station 4."

I woke up from the announcement. I never even realized that I already took a nap. What time is it anyway? It looks dark already. I never expected that I'll take a long nap here inside the train.

Thankfully though, I woke up exactly near my destination.

Hah. It must've been from all the traffic and stress that I've been through earlier. Y'all can't blame me for taking a nap if all I did was walk around the office, checking up on possible clients through the landline. And now that I think about it, my back and heels still hurt. Especially my back. Try sleeping while sitting on an old and hard couch like this one I'm sitting on, you'll understand.  I deserve some beauty rest, don't you think? Even if it means that I would be doing it here inside the train.

But that rest doesn't last forever, as usual. I took off my high heels, picked up my phone from my bag that is obviously dying from such abuse, and checked my email and messages if ever my boss thought of badmouthing me again.

Thankfully he didn't.

But my mom did.

'Excuse me, young lady. Where are you? It's already late and I bet you haven't eaten your dinner yet. Come back home at this instant!"

Yeah. That's how my mom treats me up until now. As if I'm not a "grown-up" lady who works her ass off.

She's been like this since I've gone to college. It's weird how she treated me like a kid the moment I became a full-grown adult, but I guess that's how it is when you start missing someone. You worry too much.

'On my way,' I replied. Although it takes too long to send. The signal must've been slow since we're on a train—oh.

Nice. There's no signal at all. Maybe I should wait for a while. This happens too much, I should get used to it.

I settled my phone in my bag and immediately checked any drool or gound on my face. I powdered up too and fixed my hair that looks slightly electrocuted. It looks like I was leaning on the pole too much. This is why I don't like taking naps in public places, since I know how much of a heavy sleeper I am. It'll be a shame for these fellas to see me in such a state.

Speaking of which..

I looked around inside. It's dark. Too dark for a night sky. We must've been inside the tunnel. On the contrary, the lights are surprisingly bright. As in, bright. The interior is pure cyan; from the wallpapers, couches, signs and window sill. There are also gaps for every seat—to be exact, in each seat there is only one person sitting (even though it can fit almost 6 persons, or maybe 10 if we're pressing our armpits together). If not, there are two. Even this space that I'm sitting in makes me feel so lonely and distant.

Overall, the train looks too old. The seats have scratches on it, with little foams coming out. I leaned to the pole to have a good look at the signs, but to my embarrassment, the pole was so loose that it moved and made my head slip into the air.

Shit please, no one saw that. Please no one saw that.

I, then, diverted my eyes to the people inside. Which I regretted afterwards.

Not only does this train give me some eerie vibes, but the passengers as well. The moment I looked at them—and I refuse to believe it's coincidental—all of their eyes were already focused on mine. I legitimately mean ALL eyes are on me. My seat is at the center of the train, near the doorway. That's why it feels like I'm being surrounded by eyes, left and right.
