Olivia had decided for sushi, so that what they ordered. The parents were still in their room, emptying the suitcases and putting the dirty close in the laundry room. Emily was setting the table, knowing that her parents and herself did not know how to use sticks to eat the sushi, which Olivia of course found amusing.
-Come on, it's not that difficult Em., chuckled Olivia putting the plates on the table.
-Yes it is! My fingers are not made for that., replied Emily pouting.
-Well, they clearly were made for something else., smirked the older brunette.
Emily looked up at her and didn't say a word, her mouth half open. She was blushing, her face's skin darkening. Olivia winked and smiled, so Emily wanted to say something, but that's when they heard the parent's door close.
-Hey girls., smiled the father.
-Dad! Uh, hi!, fake chuckled Emily trying not look like a tomato.
-Are you okay kid?, wondered Teddy.
-Yeah. Yeah. It's just hot in this hoodie. I think I should go change into a t-shirt., lied Emily.
-Oh, okay., replied the father.
-Liv, you wanna change as well?, asked the younger girl.
-No, I'm good., smiled Olivia.
Emily grabbed her hand squeezing it lightly.
-Are you sure?, said Emily.
-You know what? On second thought, I think I'd rather put a t-shirt on as well., lied the older brunette slightly confused.
-We'll be right back, dad., said Emily walking away with Olivia upstairs to her room.
She closed the door after Olivia walked in.
-Okay, what was tha-, started Olivia but Emily unexpectedly pinned her against the door.
-I don't know. You tell me., said the younger brunette looking her girlfriend in the eyes.
-Em, what are- what are you doing?, asked Olivia.
-God, Liv, stop teasing me in public. I swear, you'll get the consequences someday., replied Emily leaning in for a kiss, but Olivia pulled away.
-Awww, did I make you frustrated?, smirked the older girl.
-I don't know, did you?, said Emily with a serious face, yet she put her knee between Olivia's legs.
The older brunette looked down and then back up, blushing.
-Okay, okay. Message received., said Olivia, chuckling.
-Good girl., smiled Emily kissing her cheek, letting her go and pulling her knee back.
Olivia looked at her, blushing, getting butterflies in her belly. She pulled Emily close to her and kissed her passionately. Emily smiled into the kiss, but pulled away.
-What? You like that?, wondered Emily.
-Mhm., nodded Olivia.
-So, you like being praised?, asked the older girl.
-Uhm, yeah? I don't know. I guess so., shrugged Olivia looking away feeling embarrassed.
-Look at me, my love. Don't feel embarrassed. It's adorable. Now, let's put our t-shirts on before my mom shows up in my room without a warning., chuckled Emily pulling away and then walking to her closet.
-Yup, let's uh, let's do that., nodded Olivia still processing her girlfriend's reaction.
She never used to tease Tyler, but with Emily it's different. She had fun teasing her. Playing with her patience and nerve. She loved to make her all frustrated but especially in public, because what could she possibly do in public. Glare at her? Of course she knew she would have to deal with consequences once in private. But honestly, that only made her want to tease Emily even more and be a brat about it.
-Babe, are you okay over there?, chuckled Emily as she took her hoodie off, picking a t-shirt out.
-Yes, yes. Just thinking., smiled Olivia walking up to her and kissing her cheek and then hugging her.
-What's that for?, frowned the younger brunette hugging her back.
-Nothing. I just feel safe in your arms., shrugged the other brunette.
-Good, because that's all I want. For you to feel safe around me., replied Emily kissing the top of Olivia's head.
The older girl pulled away from the hug and looked at her girlfriend, smiling softly.
-Girls! Sushi is here!, screamed her mother from the kitchen.
-We should hurry., chuckled Emily putting her t-shrit on.
-Yes mother., smirked Olivia.
-God, stop that. I'm not your mother. And I'm glad that I'm not your mother or else I couldn't do this., whispered Emily as she pulled her girlfriend in for another kiss.
Olivia pulled away though.
-We need to hurry., teased the older girl.
Emily just looked at her but didn't say anything. She took a step back, for Olivia to choose one of her t-shirt that she had packed from her house. She quickly changed and together they walked downstairs. Teddy and his wife were already sitting at the table, talking about whatever.
-Hi girls., smiled the mother.
-Hey, mom., replied Emily pulling the chair out for Olivia for her to sit and then pushing it, being the gentlewoman she is.
-Hi., said Olivia looking at the mom.
Emily sat down next to her girlfriend and looked at the table. So many sushis. Damn. She grabbed the sticks and sighed.
-Okay Liv, show me how it's done., said Emily looking at her girlfriend.
-Alright., smiled Olivia grabbing Emily's hand and placing the fingers correctly.
After a few seconds, Olivia looked at her girlfriend and smiled.
-Tadaaa., chuckled the older brunette.
-Thank you, my love., smiled Emily kissing Olivia's cheek.
Her mom made a weird noise. Both girls looked at her confused. The woman was smiling brightly and looking at them all excited.
-Are you okay?, asked the father to the mom.
-Yes, yes. They're just so cute! I mean, look at them! Can they be any cuter!, exclaimed her mother.
-Mom, please calm down. This is embarrassing., sighed Emily trying to pick a sushi up with the sticks.
-Sorry, sorry. I'll stop., chuckled the mother grabbing a sushi.
His father rolled his eyes which made the girls chuckle.
-Oh, and Olivia, honey, I was thinking that maybe it would be better to put you in our guest room? You'd have your privacy and your own bathroom and your own bed. You use it for as long as you'd like. You're always welcome here. But I honestly think that you'd be more comfortable in the guest room than Emmy's messy room., said the mom.
Emily looked up at her mom. Is she for real?
