I love you//Xinyan x Barbara (Barbnyan)

Wholesome Xinyan x Barbara content, or is it?

So welcome to this ff I guess, um I hope you like it sorry if it's bad I wrote it on my phone. TW for death at the end, I told you so don't be mad at me, but ya all are still allowed to cry about it in the comments (I'm assuming someone is going to read this, shhh)

PoV. Barbara
I opened my eyes and blinked, where am I? I asked myself as I looked around, I was laying on a bed in a small room with two windows, that had blue curtains.

Before I could look around more the door opened and a worried Jean entered the room. When she saw that I was awake, her worried look changed to a realived expression and she asked :'' How are you feeling?" I opened my mouth to say I was fine but, my mouth was so dry that the only thing I could say with a weak voice was :" Water". So Jean left the room again, to come back a few minutes later with a glass of water.

The second I had the glass in my hands, I drank the whole water and sighted satisfied. :"Better?", Jean asked. I nod, but then a question formed in my head, how did I get here? Jean seemed to see what I was thinking about so she started to explain what happened :"You where attacked by a bunch of Hillichurls and a Cryo Abiss mage, happily I girl from Liyue was near to save you, or you would have died."

I could still see the shock in Jeans eyes so the only thing I asked was:'' Can the girl come in? I want to thank her for saving me." Jean nod and left the room, she really worries to much, I thought. I still was in my thoughts when a girl entered the room :" The name is Xinyan, the Grandmaster of Mondstadt said you wanted to see me, you nearly dieing wasn't Rock'n' Roll at all!" The girl said with a loud voice.

Is she a musician? I wondered because her voice definitely sounded like she performed a lot. But now isnt the time to think about that, I said to myself. As I looked at Xinyan, I noticed that Xinyan really was pretty, her skin had the color of cinnamon and her hair was tied up to two buns that looked like two little explosions next to her head, I never saw clothes like Xinyans before but I really liked how they looked, they where so different from the clothes people in Mondstadt wore, and Xinyan's eyes where shining in a deep gold so that BlI nearly lost mydeof in them.

How can someone be so beautiful? I thought to myself. I didn't know how long I was staring at Xinyan, but it had to be at least a couple minutes before Xinyan said with her loud voice:"So, what why did you want to see me?" I snapped out of my trance and blinked a few times to get myself together before I answered :"I wanted to thank you for saving me, of course."

Xinyan looked flustered, a expression I never expected to see on Xinyan's face. :"Uh,thank you", she said awkwardly and turned to the door to leave, but I didn't want her to go yet so I grabbed Xinyan's arm and said :"Wait!" Xinyan turned around with a confused look on her face :"Wait", I said again but this time with a calmer voice. "I thought you wanted me to go now", Xinyan said, but I just shaked my head and said:" Please stay for a bit longer I want to talk to you more."

Xinyan agreed so she sat down next to my bed. There where so many questions and things to say, but there was one thing I noticed earlier that I wanted to ask. :"Are you a musician?"I asked, Xinyan's eyes started to shine as she answered :" Yes! ", that was the first time I noticed it, my heart was beating fast and the feeling that there was a special bond between me and Xinyan, something I never experienced before.

//A month later//

It was already late at night, the special feeling I felt when I saw Xinyan grew stronger and stronger and it got harder to ignore it ever day. I already wanted to go to bed when I heard a knock at my door.

I turned around confused, who would knock at my door at that time? But I still went to open to door. Right in front of me stood Xinyan, dirt was all over her clothes, and she had several wounds over her legs, arms and face. :"I lo-", was the only thing she could say, before she passed out and fell right into my arms.

Shit, shit, shit, shit, how could this happen? I thought while I carried Xinyan to the cathedral. I kicked the doors open and I screamed:" I need help here, fast!"

It was late at night so nearly no one was still at the cathedral, but the people that where turned around confused. But when they saw the wounded Xinyan, they rushed over with a bed and medical supplies.

It was the next morning when Xinyan finally woke up, tears ran down my face when I hugged her and said :"I'm so glad you're alive", she smiled the she pulled me down in a kiss. I was in shock for a second, I never kissed anyone ever before, but it was Xinyan. I closed my eyes, and relaxed into the kiss, it was such a good feeling my lips on hers, it felt like the time stopped, just us. Yes this is home, this is where I belong, I though. :"I love you", she said, I noticed how all of these weird feeling I had and have around Xinyan, where love yes I loved this girl so much, I would even die for her. :I love you too", I said and closed my eyes just to enjoy the moment.

But when I opened my eyes Xinyan wasn't there anymore, I was shocked. Where is Xinyan? I panicked and got up, to run to my door. Just to notice a picture on the wall over my bed. It was a picture of me and Xinyan. She was standing in the front while I was behind her hugging her from the back. Why isn't she here? I ajsed myself, wasn't I with her in the cathedral just a second ago.

That was the moment I remembered, remembered everything.
Right, I thought,

She died.

I hope you liked this is, sorry if it's a little rushed by the end. I wanted to finish this. No I won't apologize for the ending.

Also this is for Poc, if I portrayed Xinyan wrong, or there is something disrespectful about how I wrote her, please tell me what I did wrong and how I should change it.
