— Jungkook's POV
"How's this?!"
"Hm-"
"Not good, right?! Let me try another one."
She turned around once again and went inside to change into another dress. How come she isn't liking even one dress?! Since 3 hours she's just trying and trying. I couldn't decide because she's looking beautiful in every dress.
I saw her coming with another one.
"This one is good."
She said it more to herself while checking her in the mirror. Before I could even open my mouth, she cut me off by turning to me with a pout on her face.
Cute.
"No!! This one is too heavy."
She sighed and her eyebrows frowned. Just when she was about to drag herself inside the room I held her wrist and pulled her closer to me. Her eyes widened. She blinked her eyes like a child. Damn. She's cute. We stared at each other for few good seconds before breaking the silence.
"Let me choose a dress for you. Okay?"
She nodded as I noticed her flushed state, but that was replaced when I slightly pushed her. Thankfully her clumsy ass didn't loose the balance. She clicked her tongue.
"Will being gentle hurt your ego?!"
I think that wasn't supposed to be spoken aloud.
"I'll ignore it like I always do."
I said and went through the dresses. I heard her sigh and only I can tell how much I was restraining myself from bursting out into laughter. It's so fun to tease her.
After seeing what seemed like million dresses a particular one caught my attention. I know why she couldn't pick a girly dress. That's because she always lived like a tomboy. If she could do, she would walk through the aisle with an oversized hoodie and ripped jeans. Just imagining the situation brings tears in my eyes due to laughter.
I didn't realize when a small giggle left my lips.
"What's so funny that THE JEON JUNGKOOK is smiling?!"
I snapped back and turned around to meet her confused eyes.
"I was just thinking that what if you wear a shirt and pants for the marriage. The next day the headlines would be “The one and only bride of Jungkook, who was looking no less than a man that for once we also mistook her as Jungkook's friend is his secretary Miss Lee Y/n.”Damn wouldn't that be funny?! "
I managed to say between my laughs.
As soon as I stopped laughing I saw
Y/n standing with a 'what the fuck' reaction."That's SO LAME. Jungkook, is this you? Like I don't have words and why the heck would I wear shirt and pants in my own marriage?"
She slightly raised her voice at her last sentence. I stood up straight as my lips curved into a thin line trying hard not to laugh.
"But how funny it would be."
I said and started laughing once again. Okay, that's too funny to imagine.
"You know what would be even more funny?" I looked at her while giggling.
"What?!""You wearing a gown instead of me."
I dropped my laugh and held a serious face once again realizing that what I said earlier wasn't that funny either.
"I take my words back."
I pulled out the most decent and a simple dress for her and handed to her.
"If you reject this one, I swear to God you'll end up wearing your night gown."
My usual warning tone was back. Her face lost colours.
"This is the best dress I could ever wear in my wedding."
She answered and ran towards the room.
—Y/n's POV
"Dahyunnnnnnnnn"
I ran with my arms wide open to hug my dumb bestie. Finally she was back.
"Y/nnnnnnnnnnnnnnn"
We both engulfed each other in a tight hug.
"The hug tells me you missed me a lot."
She pulled away and said with a smile.
"Not at all."
She pouted and I couldn't help but giggle at her reaction.
"Just a little."
"Little bit?"
"Yes, who would want to see that ugly face everyday?"
I pinched her nose.
"Woah. That was my line."
"Hey, I'm prettier than you."
"Can we discuss about this after we get home?"
"Yes, I have lots of things to tell you."
I dragged her to my car and drove off to her house. We had a nice long talk. I told her everything about me and Jungkook. She was beyond shocked. Like anyone would be. She knows about my relationship with Jong Dae. And she was always against it. She never showed it because she wanted me to be happy but being her friend I could read her mind.
Her reaction was what I expected. She looked happy because I was getting married to Jungkook."But I'll divorce him once Jong Dae is back."
Her face turned pale but she replaced it with a smile.
"No matter you agree or not. I can tell that Jungkook is the one for you."
That's when I bursted out into laughter. I held my stomach and wiped the tears at the corner of my eyes.
"Jungkook?"
I couldn't help but laugh even more.
"That's not even that funny."
"It is."
"Whatever."
"But seriously, Jungkook."
I rolled on the bed and laughed like there's no tomorrow.
"Stop it now."
"Okay."
I sat up straight.
"Istg, if you laugh once again. I'll dig your grave right here."
I curved my lips into a thin line.
"We aren't a made for each other couple."
"My intrusions are never wrong."
"OMG. Your intrusions."
I controlled hard to stop my grin.
"Okay, now I'll get going. You're aware of my mom, aren't you?"
I said getting up from the bed.
"Don't die while riding the car."
She hugged me as I giggled and left the house. My hands moved swiftly on the steering wheel as my mind wandered at what Dahyun said earlier.
Jungkook is the one for you.
Of course not.
Jungkook is the one for you.
We don't love each other.
Jungkook is the one for you.
He doesn't loves me.
I stopped the car while pulling the breaks harshly. I groaned. What am I even thinking about him? We're not even close to being friends. And I already love someone else.
I slammed my hands on the steering wheel.
"Jungkook isn't the one for me."
