I woke up on the Sunday night, I saw a light flashing in the woods. Rubbing my eyes to make sure I was seeing clearly I looked again.
"Gosh!" I screamed, I was sure I was in a nightmare, pinching my arm I scowled at the choice I made to do so.
That girl.
I swore I saw here somewhere.
The lantern.
All of this is so familiar!
(Two week before)
"Wake up you nut wit!" Carson, my older brother who does not believe in ghosts, said.
"Give me five more minutes or I'll bust open your nose!" I said yawning. He knew I could do it too because last week I did it to him right in front of all his friends.
He said if I brought it up again I would be sorry, but how sorry would I be? To sorry to laugh and bring it up again? I don't think so. My father was already at work and my mother's pancake's smell filled the air.
"We need to go to school..." He said more cautiously and backed up a little, "So if you want me to-"
"Kill your nose!" I blurted before he could finish.
Carson put on a nervous face and hurried down stairs to eat.
"I thought so," I muttered to myself turning to look at my bunny, Snowball.
"Snowball is a very pretty name." I remember Sissy Jackson laughing. "I would name my bunny Snowball."
So that's what I did just so I could show up for show-in-tell with a bunny, (Sissy wanted) and let everyone pet it except Sissy because she had Nutella on her hands.
Snowball loves attention. I taught her how to back flip when somebody stares at her. So that's exactly what Snowball did when I looked at her.
I looked outside and saw this little girl with a white old fashioned dress on.
I waved at her and she disappeared into the woods.
weird I thought.
Not because the fact the woods wasn't a safe place to go, because I didn't even see her walking or running into the woods I just saw a flash headed to the woods.
"Creepy is right Snowball." I said petting her underneath her chin.
A/N: Do any of you have bunnies? I do there in my backyard underneath my shed. I'm the most wildest person in my family because when I was wearing a long yellow dress I ran to catch one right in the woods getting stains on the bottom of my dress.
(back to the story)
"hey!" Brandon Young said from next door.
He was so cute!
I loved the dimples he showed when he smiled.
But I'm not the only one who loved those dimples.
So did Sissy Jackson!
"Hey," I said my cheeks turning pink and I played with my hair. "Wassup?" I asked leaning forward.
Carson came right behind me right then.
And shoved me out the window!
Screaming and flinging my arms around I shouted
"WTH! Carson! You are such a brat!"
"That's what you get for smashing my nose!" He barked back.
Brandon came down to my rescue.
"Are you all right?" He asked.
"No...I can't see a thing."
"Oh."
"Wait are you blind?"
"No."
"how many fingers am I holding up?"
"DID YOU NOT HEAR ME? I SAID I CAN'T SEE! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW?" I shouted.
"Sorry."
"Your blurry."
"yay!"
"Excuse me?"
"That means your getting your vision back."
"Oh."
"Can I tell you something?"
He looked lovely and I am so woozy.
"I like your hair."
"WHAT?"
Then the world went black.
