Trouble with Tricksy

Zoey had been dealing with Tricksy ALL week! She had missed sleep. She didn't mean to say it.

"Switcheroo, jokes on-LEAVE ME ALONE YOU LITTLE PEST!" Starbeam covered her mouth with her hands, and flew away.

Tricksy fell to the ground on her knees, and cried.

Boost was shocked. He followed her. They both switched back.

"ZOEY, WHAT THE HECK!? THAT WAS COMPLETELY UNCALLED FOR!"

"I've been dealing with her ALL week! Maybe it wasn't right, I'll admit. But I think it's pretty justified."

"Whatever you say Zoey." Henry said walking away.

Zoey sighed. She began walking home, thinking about what she did.

Zoey walked into the lighthouse. Wonderbeam was out.

"Hey Zo-oh! Hey Zoey, you alright kiddo?"

Zoey went to her room.

"Zoey?"

Zoey sat on her bed, head in her hands.

*sniff* Tricksy, I'm so sorry!"

"Knock knock, coming in."

"Hey hun, you ok?"

"Oh Gramps, I've done something really, REALLY bad!"

"Ok, calm down. I'm sure we can fix it. What did you do?"

"I, *sigh* I called Tricksy a, little pest."

*gasp* ZOEY MITCHELL! You know better than that!"

"I know Gramps. It's just that, I dealt with her ALL week, and I was tired of it."

"Even still, you need to apologize to her. I'm sure you hurt her feelings. How would you feel if someone said something mean to you?"

Zoey started crying. Gramps held her in his lap.

*sniff* "You're mad at me aren't you Gramps?"

"Oh of course I'm not mad at you Zoey. I'm just disappointed, cause I know how sweet you are, and to see you act like that, it disappoints me."

"I know. But how do I fix this?"

"You've just gotta apologize. That's all you can do."

Zoey broke down.

"I'm a horrible person!" *hic* *hic* I didn't mean to say it, it just hapehehened! Now she'll never forgive me!"

"Oh, come here Zozo. You're not a horrible person. You just made a mistake, and have to fix it."

"What kind of superhero am I? Good superheroes never make mistakes!"

"EVERYONE makes mistakes, including me and your mom. I never thought of the fact that Goop would use a glove to get the Beam Key, and your mom got herself trapped in a cage SHE made. But we were able to fix these mistakes, now you have to."

"But I don't know where Tricksy is. How am I supposed to apologize?"

You'll have to find her. Look, it's getting late. Why don't we just order some pizza, and you can find her tommorow.

"Ok"

The next day, Zoey got up. She got ready and went downstairs. Wonderbeam was there.

"Zoey Mitchell, Gramps told me what you did. I'm not mad, but you need to apologize young lady."

"I know mom. I'll go change."

Zoey went in the bathroom (only so Gramps and Wonderbeam wouldn't see her sad.)

"It's time...to shine." Zoey said sadly.

"It's time to shine!"

Zoey begins transforming.

"Superhero girl!"

She's small and mighty!

Starbeam goes out to find Tricksy.

"Tricksy? Tricksy where are you?" she calls

She sees her sitting on a cliff by the sea.

"Tricksy?"

Starbeam sits next to her.

"Go away Starbeam. You said it yourself. I'm just a pest anyway."

*inhale*"No, your not Tricksy. I was wrong. You're cute."

"R-really?"

"Yep! I'm not gonna lie, your Switcheroos can be kinda fun, and funny. But when they're against other people, it can make them scared, mad, and sad. You know? And turning my grandpa into the thing that sometimes makes me uh, throw up, and gives me the heebie jeebies, well that's a little, uh, you know."

"Mhm."

"You, want a hug don't you?"

"Mhm!"

She did so.

*crying* "I'm so sorry Starbeam! I'm just trying to have fun when I do it. I don't mean to hurt anyone!"

"Shh, there there, I know you don't."

"Wait a minute, you're-Starbeam transforms to Zoey.

"Tricksy, you have to promise not to tell anyone."

"Don't worry, I promise. And that's no joke!"

They both laugh.

"So wait, then Boost is-"

"Mhm"

"Wooooah!"

"Sooo, wanna get some ice cream?"

"Sure! But do you have money?"

"Yup, allowance!"

"Alright! Let's go!"

And so, Zoey called Henry, and they walked to a nearby Dairy Queen.

When they got done eating, and Tricksy. Was in the bathroom, Henry and Zoey looked at the sunset, as they were outside the restaurant. They were sitting.

"Zoey, can I, uh, tell you something?"

"Sure, what is it Henry?"

"I, uh, gah, uh, it well I CAN'T!"

Zoey grabbed Henry's hands.

"Henry. Take a moment, Take a breath. Make a plan, and try your best."

Henry breathed.

"Zoey, I, l love you."

Zoey had her hands on her mouth, blushing.

"Me to."

She grabbed Henry's face, and kissed him.

"So are we, a couple now?" asked Zoey

"I, think so." said Henry.

"Hey Zozo!"

"Gah! Uh, h-hey Gramps! We were just-"

"I already know. I've been following all day. I'm proud of you. As for you and Henry, I'm happy for you both."

"Thanks Gramps."

"Say, where's Tricksy?"

"Hey everyone! By the way, thanks for the ice cream Zoey, but I gotta go. Bye!"

"Bye Tricksy!"

And so, Henry and Zoey went to the light house, and had a sleepover that night.
