CHOIR ROOM
Later that afternoon, as Kelly was walking into the choir room Rachel, who was still upset from her break up with Finn, pulled her aside before she could make her way to a seat.
Rachel: "I need your help with my song for Glee." she tells the purple haired girl as she handed her the sheet music.
Kelly: "Are you sure this is the song you want to sing for this week's assignment?" she asked the brunette after reading the title.
Rachel: "Yes, I think it's the perfect song that expresses my current emotions with everything that has happened." she told her friend as Kelly looked back at the papers in her hands while thinking the choice over.
Kelly: "You know what, why not." she said to her before the two made their way over to chairs. Kelly began to look over the sheet music for her upcoming duet with Rachel and not long after the rest of the club started to show up and take their seats. During which, Santana and Brittany were sitting next to Finn as he was talking to them about pizzas.
Finn: "Well, obviously Hawaiian pizza is the best because it's got ham and pineapple on it, right?"
Santana/Brittany: "Mmhmm, oh god, both, it's so good."
Finn: "So it's better than most pizzas." he continues to tell him as Will enters the room.
Will: "Alright, guys, we gotta get moving on those 'hello' numbers. Who has got something to show us? Volunteers?" he asks as Rachel raises her hand.
Rachel: "Mr. Schuester, I think I've found a song that sums up my feelings perfectly." she then turns to the purple haired girl that had been studying the sheet music, "Kelly?"
Kelly: "Yeah, let's do this." she told her as she set down the papers and they made their way to the center of the room.
Will: "Fantastic, girls. Show us what you got." the two then begin their duet rendition of The All-American Rejects' 'Gives You Hell'
Will: "Guys. Guys, guys, I don't want to be a buzzkill but the assignment was 'hello.'" he tells them after the laughter had finally died down.
Rachel: "I'm sorry, I was just focusing on the first syllable." she said while looking back at Finn.
Will: "You know what? I don't think you guys understand the seriousness of what we're up against. While we were busy winning our sectional, Vocal Adrenaline was busy winning theirs. They're last year's national champions. They haven't lost a competition in three years. This is the big leagues, guys. If we don't place at regionals, Glee Club is over." he stated as Rachel looked remorseful and Kelly looked slightly guilty for not stopping them from singing this song.
