Being second is as worst as being nothing in some ways.

LIM YUJIN

I am stunned.

An electric wave rushes in my body as Yeosang stares at me with adoration(?) which he's never done towards me before. His hands hold mine dearly, together with the chocolate icecream. I feel it is somehow melting in our grasps if we do nothing about it.

We are still on the street but I can't even hear or feel anything other than my unstable heart beat.

Thanks to Wooyoung's sudden appearance, I don't get caught because of this rebellious heart of mine.

"Why are you both here?" The black haired boy asks, then peeks at Yeosang "You have your shift today, don't you?"

Yeosang backs away from me as he takes a step backwards. "Something happened so Yunho let me take a day off." He sounds awkwardly.

Not really paying attention to Yeosang's words, Wooyoung wastes no time to notice my puffy cheek, "Yujin! your cheek looks...weird?" then traces his fingers onto it with widened eyes.

"It's not a big deal..." I flinch at the stinging contact on my cheek, "I'mma tell you later."

Even if I don't tell him later, he'll vigorously bombard me nonstop for the whole story.

Yeosang clears his throat after gawking at the scene. "We should get going back." The black haired boy agrees in an instant.

Once again, Wooyoung may become my savior, but his out of the blue curiosity? Absolutely no joke.

As days go by, I find myself not really wavered by Wooyoung's random straightfoward actions much like before, because those are marks of his characters by the way. It's kinda fun to text him considering our similar preferences. He likes animals in general but loves dogs the best. He don't really hate sweet treat but they're not his prior choice. And...

"Have you played the newest version of Legend Matrix?"

"Is it released already?" I turn to face Wooyoung as excitement fills up my lungs. "Do you have it?" My agape mouth is capable of catching fly at this point.

And both of us love gaming.

"Luckily enough I have bought it." The boy cocks a brow, tapping onto his chest proudly with his hand. "Limited version hits different seriously." His head tilts slightly.

I wanna buy and play it. The price, however, is incredibly astoundingly shockingly expensive...to a normal student like me at least.

"Such a shame for someone who loves gaming doesn't experience it though." The boy bumps me by the shoulder as he clicks his tongue which I shoot him a glare.
