[Maxon's POV]

I needed air.

Or someplace where I can stroll around without being followed by desperate life forms.

After the magazine being released. Me and the boys couldn't go outside our homes without being mobbed by annoying organisms anymore.

That's why I asked Father to let me spend at least two days in the muggle world where no one recognize me whenever I go outside for my daily jog.

As I saunter wherever my feet takes me around the neighborhood. I shoved both my hands inside my coat pocket. Even though it's only mid-August the temperature is already cold enough to create fogs when I exhale.

The streets near my temporary home is nearly empty. Sidelights are already lit up and the moon is starting to show itself.

I stopped and looked up watching the once bright sky turn dark. I sighed and closed my eyes.

In another life, I hope I live a peaceful life. Maybe a muggle life will do...

"A penny for you thoughts?"

I broke out of my ruminations about life and turned my head towards the source of the voice.

"Pardon?" I asked.

The man just smiled at me softly. He looks like a middle aged man wearing a white coat and a suit inside while carrying a briefcase.

"You just look distressed. Are you okay?" I nodded and smiled at him slightly.

"I'm fine. Just thinking about...stuff" I shrugged letting the cold wind hit my whole being.

"Very well. You better go home now young man, It's getting cold outside." He waved goodbye and walked away. I stared at him walk in to his house a few yards from me. I shook my head laughing quietly at the unexpected interaction.

I went back to the house I'm staying at and sat on the couch checking my alerts on my phone. After a few minutes, I was about to put down my phone when it vibrated that someone is calling.

"When am I going to get my uninterrupted isolation" I mumbled to myself before answering the call.

"What do you want Wolfhard" I asked impatiently.

"I just want to remind you that we have to perform at the Quidditch World Cup 4 days from now."

"Remind me again why we have to do that? It's really unnecessary to sing in front of thousands of people in a time out of the game." I walked towards the kitchen and opened the fridge taking out a bottle of water.

"Because the Minister himself asked us to do it. Stop complaining we're only doing two or four songs and then we're done with it" I can almost hear him rolling his eyes over the phone.

"I can't back out on this can I?"

"Nope, You're the lead singer be confident. Plus, We're going to meet up with Krum and the team to wish them goodluck."

I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose.

"Yeah, I'm going to meet up with him anyways. He asked me to take a photo of him and his team."

"There you go, You can do your documentary of the match first, perform at the time off and then watch the game."

"Okay, I'm going to hang up now see you at the match."

I dropped the call not giving him time to say anything back.

I guess my self-isolation from the cruel world is about to end. I thought as I walked up to my bedroom and sleep.
