Waiting in a flowering field, Lillathan stared into the sky. They were anticipating someone,  since they invited a close friend for a picnic at sunset. Well, atleast that's what Lillathan's "friend" thought. In reality, Lillathan was going to confess their affection to them.

"Sorry I'm late, I didn't know the sun would set so soon!" The voice, presumably from who Lillathan invited, yelled from afar.

"It's alright Blacephalon, the sun's still up- somewhat atleast..."

Blacephalon could hear the disappointment in Lillathan's voice as they finnally made it to the picnic spot.

"You know, you run quite slowly now. I remember watching you seemingly disappear in one place and appear in another, what happened?" Lillathan inquired.

"It's more of a battling thing."

"But you weren't battling, you were playing Angel Ball."

"It's more of a survival instinct thing, plus, we came here to eat and watch the sunset, not talk about how slow I am"

"I suppose I'll drop it then." Lillathan said, now thinking of other ways to make conversation.

"Here's some lemonade, I made it myself." Blacephalon said, breaking the akward silence as they gave Lillathan the glass of lemonade. "I know it's you're favorite."

"I have my own, but thanks alot for the gift!"

"I figured, you wouldn't go anywhere without it... not like that's a bad thing or anything like that!"

"Well you figured correctly, but I will give this a taste." Lillathan said, despite the fact they can't taste anything.

     "How is it?"

     "It's very energising"

     "Good"

They continued eating untill the sun finally set. The clouds were almost completely cleared by now, giving way to the beautiful night sky, the only things lighting up the darkness surrounding them, other than the stars, which didn't help much, being their faces, emitting light, as they both stared at eachother.

"You know, there's a reason I asked you to come here today." Lillathan admitted.

"Yeah, why wouldn't you confess to me here, you invited me on a date during sunset, do you not realise how obvious that is?" Blacephalon said while laughing, mostly joking around and not trying to hurt Lillathan.

     ".....Is that a yes?"

"Well, why do you think I stayed so long?"

     "So you love me?"

     "Yes, I just said so."

They both held eachother's hands, looking at eachother longingly.

     "So.... what now?" Lillathan asked.

"I don't know, this whole thing was your idea." Blacephalon joked.

"What about a kiss?" Lillathan requested.

"Neither of us have mouthes." Blacephalon said, feeling defeated.

     "I do." Lillathan said proudly.

"How is a mouth on a screen going to kiss?"

     "How about a hug?"

     "Okay"

The two hugged eachother passionately, since they couldn't really do anything more. They stayed in the area for another hour untill they walked eachother to civilisation. Saying their goodbyes, they went their separate ways for the night and promised to meet again in the morning. Pleased with how the date went, Lillathan couldn't help but wag their tail in satisfaction of the new realionship.
