You Give Me A Headache

Kuza's POV

I kept my hands balled into right fists, gritting my teeth as Kalix sang along, quite loudly mind you, to yet another "rock classic."

His two favorite seem to be Traveling Riverside Blues and Ramble On, both by Led Zeppelin. Although when Rubiel put on Eye of the Tiger, Kalix seemed purdy happy about it.

Traveling with these two is an endless chain of bad diner food, and then the skeevy motel rooms, and then the truck-stop waitress with the bizarre rash.

Thankfully, we're almost there. If I have to listen to one more album I swear I'm setting a Hellhound after them once I've got Annifer.

"Alright, there's the sign." Rubiel pointed to a "Welcome to Bonner Springs" sign just before we passed it.

"Finally!" I groaned, stretching my legs as best I could in the backseat of Kalix's gorgeous '67 Impala that he called Baby.

They found a little side road and pulled off, then parked. I scanned the area we were in, which was nothing more than a few trees and bushes.

"Alright I know Annifer isn't here." I growled. "Yeah, I know." Rubiel scoffed. "We're gonna do a locator spell." Kalix informed me, "If that's okay with you." he added sarcastically.

I hissed at him, and both of them ignored me. They climbed out of the car and I took the opportunity to climb out and stretch my long, lanky legs.

Kalix opened the trunk and lifted the bottom, revealing a huge arsenal of tools, mainly guns and knives and such.

"Okay if I pissed you off I take it back." I said quickly, throwing my hands up in surrender.

"No, what we need is in here." Rubiel laughed. Kalix grabbed out a few black candles, then took a lighter out of his pocket.

"Wanna do the honors, Rubi?" Kalix grinned, seeing how annoyed his younger brother of four years looked at the nickname.

"Sure." Rubiel snapped, snatching the candles and lighter from Kalix. He placed them in a wide circle on the ground.

He and Kalix stepped inside the circle, and Rubiel lit them. "Sorry, this doesn't work with Demons." Kalix told me. I shrugged it off while Rubiel said a spell.

The flames of the candles breezed in one direction, then lifted off the candles and combined into one.

"Alright hurry up, let's go." Kalix said quickly, picking up some of the candles.

I jumped into the backseat while he and Rubiel threw the candles into the trunk, slammed it shut, and scurried into the car.

Kalix sped after the little ball of fire, which I could only guess would lead us to Annifer.

30 Minutes Earlier...

Celeste's POV

"I don't want any force used on Annifer unless it is absolutely beyond necessary, understood?!" Lucifer yelled.

He had gathered me, Synacky, Jalex, Chricky, and Ashcky, in order to bring Annifer back down to Hell.

We didn't know for sure how many Demons would be with her, or hard she would fight against us to stay on Earth.

Lucifer went over the procedure one last time before we were to go up to Earth to bring his daughter, my niece technically, back.

Annifer was to be unharmed, and only Lucifer or I could deal with her. If she was with Lilith, then only Lucifer was to deal with her. Any other Demons that interfered were to be executed on the spot.

Once Lucifer deemed us finally ready, we all blinked to Bonner Springs to find her.

We ended up in a park, and I saw a sign that said "Wyandotte County Park."

"I see her!" Ashcky called. Lucifer's head snapped around exorcist style almost to get a look at his daughter.

There was a girl with her that had black and blue hair and super pale skin, and she had her arm linked through Annifer's.

"She found Lilith." I heard Lucifer breathe, "Let's go." He and I led the way over to them, the others following behind us.

"Spread out, you four." Lucifer ordered, "Celeste and I will get them from behind. We're going in first."

The others spread out amongst the park some, but kept close just in case. Lucifer led me way out to the side, then behind them, inching closer and closer.

"Get your blade out." Lucifer whispered. "Won't Mortals panic?" I whispered back. "I don't care, fucking do it." he hissed.

I grabbed my knife out as told. "Grab Annifer, I've got Lilith. As soon as we touch them we blink to my office. The others will either know or assume." he whispered.

We crept up behind them, and he mouthed, "On three," So I nodded to let him know I understood. I could see the others watching closely.

"One, two, three."

I grabbed Annifer's arm with my free hand and pressed the blade to her throat with my other, then blinked to Lucifer's office.

Lucifer got there a split second after, in the same position with Lilith. He took the blade away, dropping it and waving his hand at the door to lock it, preventing anyone from leaving.

"Hello, my sweet girls." Lucifer smiled, "How I've missed you." He tried to hug them, but both of them looked at him with anger.

Kuza's POV

We got there in time to see Annifer and another girl be taken away, I couldn't tell by who.

We missed her. We fucking missed her. I searched all this time, came all this way, to watch her disappear before my eyes.

"Was one of them her?" Rubiel asked, nodding towards where Annifer and the other person had been.

"Yeah, it was." I answered, gritting my teeth. That was when I realized Chricky, Ashcky, Synacky, and Jalex were here.
