"Mr. Pridonte, let's go. It's about time."
Jack looked at the girl and nodded. "Okay," he replied.
My brows furrowed. "Yah," I uttered so Jack looked at me again.
"We'll go ahead, Miss. I'm sorry for the trouble," he said seriously but his eyes were saying the opposite.
Miss?
I gritted my teeth. "You'll leave me like this? You just poured me your coffee, Mister," I said sarcastically.
He licked his lips and turned to his company. "My apologies but, you can go first. I'll just settle my business with this lady," he told them and glanced at me.
Napakaewan niya talaga.
"Okay. Follow us immediately," the foreigner said and walked pass me. He was followed by six men and three women. I even saw the girl earlier held Jack's arm as she walked away from us.
I sighed heavily and glared at Jack. "Did you see this?" I showed him my top that I removed.
He chuckled. "I'm not blind, Miss."
"What?" I uttered and my brows furrowed. "Oh, damn. Fuck you," I cursed and got the tablet from the chair.
"Nakakailang mura ka na, ah?" He said and his jaw clenched.
I glared at him. "Look at my clothes," I commanded him and spread my arms a bit. But then, I realized that I'm just wearing a thin piece of cloth as my top. I quickly closed my arms. He was surveying my body seriously! "Eyes up, Mr. Pridonte," I said and gritted my teeth.
He looked at me seriously. "What do you want me to do?"
I raised a brow. "Buy me a new dress. Damn, it's not even half of the day," I complained and glared at him. Sayang ang outfit ko!
He sighed. "Look, you dressed fine, okay? No more coffee stain. Now if you would excuse me, I'll go ahead. May meeting pa kami."
My eyes widened when realization hit me. "Oh, shoot! The meeting!" I exclaimed and quickly walked back towards the conference room.
I glanced at the inside and saw that the board members are still talking. The bottom half of the glass wall is blurred and the top is clear. So, hindi kita ang mga naka-upo.
I sighed heavily and tinupi ng ayos ang blazer top. I hanged it and the ID on my arm then hugged the tablet. I glanced at the people here shortly before I walked towards the door.
"Excuse me," I said politely as I opened the door then I went to Papa. "Sir, the employees from New Zen Incorporated are now waiting at the outside," I said politely. I know that they could hear me so I don't wanna sound that I want them to leave.
He nodded and turned to the board members. "New Zen's architects and engineers are here. You can stay if you want to join the meeting."
Mr. Florentino laughed. "No need, Mr. Limanto. I know that you do the business well," he said and stood up.
"Ahm, I'm sorry for making you wait. Please, come in," I told the New Zen's employees and motioned the way to the inside of conference room.
