Jazmine's POV:

I wake up in the still unfamiliar apartment that I just moved into. I look around closing my eyes from the brightness of the sun that is peaking through the window. As my eyes adjust to the light i look around the boxed filled room, I then look to my left and right on my bed to see my beautiful angels sleeping soundly.

I carefully try and get up without waking them up. After almost getting out of the bed there are rustling noises and one of my angels sits up.

"Mama what are you doing.?" My 7 year old son mumbles while running his sleepy eyes.

"I'm sorry Oli mommy has to get up and unpack our stuff, lay back down sweetheart and go back to sleep."

"Okie mommy" he whispers as he lays back down and drifts off back to bed.

I make my way out of the bedroom and into the bathroom. My dark short curly blue hair is all tangled and a mess, my eyes have deep eye bags that make me look 20 years older than I am. I try to run my fingers through my short mess of hair but midway my fingers gets stuck.

"Shi- I mean smothers..." I quickly turn around to see if any of my kids have stepped in and almost heard me cuss, to my luck no children. I sigh I'm relief, I almost slipped up.

As I untangle my fingers from my hair i walk out to try and find my phone that is in the empty wooden floor right next to the bed. I pick it up to see if there are any notifications, so far none. I take one more look at my babies that are sleeping peacefully and walk out the room and into the living room. I start to look around for any boxes that are marked for the kitchen.

After searching for 5 minutes i found all the boxed for the kitchen. I go into the medium sized kitchen and take out my phone to play some music. I start to unpack everything that is non fragile first and then I'll unpack the fragile stuff last.

2 hours later

I finally unpacked everything for the kitchen and my back hurts like hell. As I look around of what I was able to accomplish I am satisfy with my work. 2 hours really paid off of unpacking all this stuff for the kitchen. as I walk out the kitchen I am tackled by two energetic kids, we all land on the hard floor laughing.

"Mommy! Mommy! Guess what me and bubba did!" My little version of me giggles.

"what did you and Oli do Phee?"

"Me and sissy made up the bed for us! We also were able to get most of the bathroom stuff put away while you were doing the kitchen!" My little son screams out very excitedly before his little sister was able to say anything.

"Awe I'm so proud of you guys, can you show me?" I ask the two excited puppy like kids.

they quickly get up from lap and grab both of my hands and basically pull me up and drag me across the apartment.  As we enter the bedroom I am able to see that they tried their best to make up the bed, some of the blankets are crooked but they still tried and I'm proud of them.

"Awe good job sweethearts, the bed looks so good. I'm proud of you guys!" I say as I hold out my fist to my kids to give them a fist bump, which both kids do very quickly.

"You guys also told me that you guys did the bathroom, can I see?"

"Sure mommy, follow us!" My daughter says while skipping off to the bathroom.

I follow them into the bathroom and I am greeted with a half done bathroom. I look down at them and bend down, I open my arms big to give them both a hug and they come up and hug me very tightly.

"Thank you guys; this really helps. I love you both!" I say as I hug them tighter.

"I love you more mommy!" They both yell at the same time. We all giggle and I get up and take my kids hands back into the bedroom.

"Let's go celebrate our new house kids, we can go to Mcdonald's and then we can go to the park down the street that we saw when we were driving here."

"YAY!" They both scream.

I go to 3 different boxes that have each of our clothes, I pick a cute black shirt that has a tiny bone on it and some blue shorts for my son with black shoes. Then I pick a cute black sundress that also has a bone on it for my daughter with some white sandals, I also get a cute white bow to put in her long curly black hair. For me I just pick a casual baggy black shirt with a skull on it that is rainbow and then I pick some faded ripped jeans with converses. As we all get ready we look in the mirror and see our matching outfits. We all smile and I then grab a comb and some hair products so that I get my hair to look a little bit better. I also do the same for my daughter and son because just like me they also have curly hair.

"Ok guys you know the drill give me your arms so I can put on those little tattoos that has my number in case you guys get lost and someone finds you and need a way to contact me to get you." I say.

They both willingly give me their arms to get the fake tattoo. After that is done I get my purse and my keys to my car, before walking out I give each of us some sunglasses so that we can't be blinded by the sun. We then walk out of the building to my 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, me and my kids walks out with confidence which gives us some crazy stares but we do not care because their stares are irreverent.

We all make it to the truck and I help buckle them in and I get in the front seat, I start it up, I hook up my phone to the AUX cord and play Montero by Lil' Nas X. I turn up the volume and me an the my kids start to sing along with the lyrics, we all love this song because it's a bop. As I drive down the road jamming with my kids to songs, we finally make it to the Mcdonald's and we walk in without our masks since Covid has been lifting up and isn't as bad as before.
