Making My Wrongs Right

Izuru's POV 

I woke up in a hospital. I was pretty tired and fatigued. What happened? Before I could figure out the question I heard Nagito crying. 'I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!' 'I'm a worthless being, you don't deserve this!' 'I... don't.. deserve.. to.. be in a ...  hospital?' 'Izuru!' 

Nagito's POV 

I can't believe it! He's already talking! Then he closed his eyes. He was probably tired from the surgery. But I'm happy he's doing better. 'Sir we would like to ask you some questions.' 'Questions... questions for what?' 'For how he got injured.' It was the lady before. That's not important, they are going to question what happened. I have to make sure I don't change the story.

'So Mr.Komaeda.' 'Hold on, how do you know my last name?' 'Well your friend told us.' 'But back to the questions, after Jose went home he looked around and saw nothing that Izuru could've slipped on. 'Also he said that the floors weren't smooth, so really there's nothing that could have led Izuru to fall.' 'So are you lying?' 'Why would I lie, he got injured because I wasn't paying attention.' 'Well that doesn't explain that you said " You don't deserve this!"And how your fingerprints were found on the knife.' 'Are these details you missed to tell us?' 

Damnit they're  good. I can't give up know. 'I'm sorry about lying before, I was the one who slipped.' 'Explain.' 'I had socks on and I spilled some water. I tripped and the knife left my hands and went into Izuru.' 'Well that would explain why there was no way Izuru could've slipped, because the water got dried up.' 'And that also explains why we found your fingerprints on the knife, not Izuru's!' 'Sorry I didn't tell you the truth, I thought if I did the blame would immediately be on me, even though it was an accident.' 'It's okay.' 'Now you do have an option about your punishment.' 'We could get you off the hook, but you have to take care of Izuru.'  'But will you make sure he is safe and healthy?' 'Yes, a million times yes!' 

I return to Izuru's side. He's so cute when he sleeps. Why did I think that? Am I getting feelings for him? I don't need to worry about that now, I need to worry about Izuru. 

A Few Hours Later

After a few hours of watching Izuru sleeping I fell asleep. I was so exhausted after everything that had happened that I couldn't fight any longer. It felt good to be next to him, it was comforting. I'm happy that things can get better with me and Izuru.
