SCARLET LETTER
By Maybelle&Madison
Aria and Carson had been together for already 2 years. They've been fighting through their complicated relationship.
Aria has strict parents. Her father doesn't want her to talk to any boys, that's why they sent her to an all-girls school. Aria felt so degraded, as if she doesn't have her freedom. All of her life, she has been following every rule her parents gave her. She can't go out with her friends, except when she has to do schoolworks. She can't wear any fashionable clothes, like those of short skirts, short shorts, jeans, even cropped tops. She always wear those long dresses her mom gave her which makes her look like an old lady, but she still looks pretty anyways.
She was an only child, so her parents have a close watch on her. Added that she is a growing lady, which make her parents more protective of her. Aria doesn't want that kind of life. She always wanted to go out with friends, try different clothes and act like a normal teenage person. But no. Her parents are too obsessed with surrounding her with her own tiny bubble.
Carson's life is way more different. he came from a very wealthy and popular family. His father is the owner of a number of real estates while his mother is a well-known fashion designer. He has one older brother and a younger sister. Unlike Aria, Carson is allowed to do anything a teenage guy would do. Party at night, sleepover with friends, random playing of video games, you know, the cliche stuffs. He was an all out boy. Going to clubs, checking out pretty girls and drinking and stuff. He was a badass..
But that changed when he met Aria.
You are probably wondering how they met because Aria is going to an all-girls school. Well, it was a set-up. Carson's mom send him to a blind date because she wanted her son to stick with only one girl. She was so afraid that her son wouldn't have a wife in the future and will not have kids. Which her mom's lifetime dream, to have handsome and pretty grandchildren.
On the other hand, Aria's girl friends send her to a blind date too. They were so caught up with Aria's parents so they sneak out and send Aria to the blind date. Carson's mom and Aria's friends both made an account on DateMe.com. They made hilarious profiles which contains 50% true things about the both of them, and the rest are all lies.
"Hey Aria, check out this site! And choose someone who you want to date on Sunday!"
"What?! Of course I won't do that!"
"But Aria, it's just one time. maybe you'll not like him, then this will be the last time that we'll force you to do something like this..."
"What if I liked him?"
"Better! Go on now."
"Fine."
They scrolled through numerous profiles, theey found some skateboarders, ballet dancers, basketball players, emo, and so much types of males.
"I think I found the one." Aria commented
Austin Meyers, 15
"Great Aria! You are of the same age. And he is so handsome!"
"Well, I don't kn----" Aria didn't have the chance to continue her sentence because a chatbox popped out.
"Oh my god Aria! Someone chatted you. Who is it?"
"Wow, Irish. You are more excited than me huh?"
"Oh well.Quick, who is he? What did he said?"
"His name is Carson Baker. He said hi beautiful."
"Aweeee, quick! Check out his profile."
"Alright alright wait."
