Mikey woke up on Violets couch with a sticky note on his forehead: Mikey, went to make sure Luke, Calum, and Ash were still alive. Come see us when you wake up. XoXo-Violet.
He rushed up, pulled on the pj shirt he had taken off hours ago to keep Violet warm, and headed for his hotel room. He knocked on the door, then let himself in. When he went in, he found that everyone was gone. He looked all around. Then he heard music. He followed the sound onto the balcony. There he found everyone sitting in a circle surrounding Violet who was singing and luke who was playing guitar and singing. They sang if it means a lot to you by A Day To Remember. Michael just stood in the doorway in awe. When they finished everyone was laughing and Michael clapped and sat next to Violet.
"How long were you standing there Mikey?"Luke asked.
"Long enough. Violet you have an amazing voice! Why haven't you said anything about this?" Mikey exclaimed.
"We were just goofing off Michael." She said embarrassed.
"Yeah right Violet."Luke laughed
"Seriously Vi! Your voice is so cute!!"Ashton said bursting out laughing at the redness of Violets face.
Just then Violet got a call from Addy.
"I got take this guys," she said going inside,"Hey Addy! "
"Hey Violet. You called me earlier?"
"Uh yeah, yeah I did. I just wanted to tell you that the only plane leaving to LA in the next month is leaving tonight. Can you make it?"
"Totally! I'm already packed and everything. What time?"
"4:30 P.M."she said.
"Okay. I'll be there. Can't wait to see you!"
"Same here. Bye!!"they hung up.
Violet walked back onto the balcony and was smiling nonstop.
"What's all the excitedness about?" Luke said.
"My only friend since I was 6 is flying in from New York to see me tonight!"she said.
"Is she the girl whose picture is on your bracelet? "Luke asked.
"Yes. That's her. Addy."
"She is so pretty!"Luke exclaimed.
"Uh oh. Somebody's got a crush!"Mikey teased.
"You have no room to talk "Mr.lets have a sleepover" teased back.
This made Violet blush. Everything made Violet blush.
"Violet?" Mikey said with an adorable child voice.
"Yes Mikey?" She said back with the same type of voice.
"I'm going to take you on a date before your only friend gets here."he laughed.
"Says who?"she teased back.
He sat next to her once again putting his arm around her. She jerked away kiddingly but he only pulled her closer. He looked her straight in the eyes and then down to her lips the back up to her eyes.
" I wanna take you on a date."he said seriously.
"You guys do realize there are still three other people in the room who do no want to see this"Calum said smartly.
"I wouldn't mind it." Luke teased.
"Get out of here."Mikey teased rubbing Luke's hair.
"Fine. We'll go on a date."
She cringed at the word date.
"If you say so violet I mean we've only just met." He goofed.
"You're such an asshat Clifford. "
"Yeah I know. Let's go princess."he said pulling her off of the couch.
"Don't call me that" she said as they were leaving.
"Princess. Princess. Princess" he teased.
"Likewise Clifford!"
"Did you just call me a princess?" He said leveling his face with hers.
"Uh...no." she giggled.
"I think you did... You're going to pay for that sweetheart!" She took off running and he chased after her. She rustled through her purse for the key to her room and opened it leaving it cracked open. She ran to the balcony to hide pushing herself against the wall. He followed quickly after her.
"Where could Violet be?" He said as if he were talking to a child.
She giggled and he knew exactly where she was. He went onto the balcony with her. He touched the small of her back and pulled her close.
"You're gonna pay for that."he whispered, pulling her in for a kiss.
"Michael," she pushed him away, "I'm sorry."she ran off of the balcony and left him standing alone questioning himself.
"Hey!"Michael yelled,"wait a minute!"he grabbed her arm gently.
She kept running until she was sure she had lost him. She ended up on the beach where they had been the night before.
"Hey have you guys seen Violet?"he asked Luke.
"Uh no I haven't dude, Cal? Ash? You guys seen her?" Luke asked.
"Nope" Calum said.
"I did! She's on the beach.she looks upset.what happened?" Ash asked.
" I tried to kiss her." He said.
"What! You tried to kiss her and she ran away?" Luke asked.
"Yes Luke! I tried to fucking kiss her and she ran away." He said grabbing his leather jacket and rushing to the beach.
"Violet! What happened?" He asked her putting his jacket around her.
"Nothing Mikey. I just freaked out." She said. Motioning for him to sit down. He sat next to her.
"I know something was the matter Violet. I'm not dumb." He said putting his arm around her.
"Nothing is wrong. I'm fine."
"You've been crying Violet. Talk to me. I want to help you."
"You can't help me Michael," she said standing up, dropping his jacket," nobody can help me."
"That isn't true Violet,"he picked up his jacket and grabbed her waist," just let me get to know you. I want to...no I need to know what's going on inside that beautiful mind of yours."
"Michael, "she said a tear falling from her eye, "I'm gonna tell you this. Because I know it will make you run. Far, far away. And when you do, I won't have to worry about hurting you."
"That isn't going to happen Violet. I promise you whatever it is, it isn't enough to make me leave you."
"We'll see about that." She said still crying.
He pulled her close and hugged her until her could feel his shirt soaked with tears.
"Hey. Stop Crying. It's going to be okay. Tell me what's bothering so I can help."he said whiping her tears away and rubbing her back.
"Not here. Let's go somewhere else."
"You got it. Anywhere."he said.
"It doesn't matter. Just not here."
Okay. Let's go get frozen yogurt."
"Sounds delightful."
