Clarion opened the door to Milori's room slightly. It was 8:30 and they had a meeting starting in half an hour. She decided to go and meet him beforehand. She walked in and saw Milori coughing while buttoning up his shirt. He noticed her standing there and smiled barely. Clarion asked, "Milori, are you alright?" He nodded, "I'm alright." Clarion raised her eyebrow, "You certainly don't look it...." Milori pretended to be offended by her comment, "Your highness, that's a very rude thing to say to a fairy."

Clarion rolled her eyes. She walked over to him and he started coughing again. "Dear, I believe you have a cold." He looked at her perplexed, "A cold? Winter fairies don't get colds." "Well, you're sick, to say the least. You can't possibly go to the meeting today." Clarion was trying to drag him to sit down on the bed. "Why not? I'm not sick." "Milori, you can't go around getting other fairies sick. You can sit in bed and do paperwork if you want something to do." He looked disgusted. Paperwork was the last thing he would be doing.

Clarion had flown out to tell the Ministers they wouldn't be making it to the meeting today, sadly. She also told them how Milori was sick and not allowed to go outside by her orders. They were quite irked with the fact they would both be getting to miss work for the day, all except the minister of summer. She sent Lord Milori her regards and hopes for him to feel better. The rest wanted to tell him to do paperwork.

When she returned, Milori was resting back in bed. She walked over to sit on the edge of it. "I'm not even sick. It's probably allergies." She shook her head and laughed slightly, "We still won't be risking you getting fairies sick." "Shouldn't you be leaving then?" After all, she was the fairy queen. Milori would feel especially guilty if he got her sick. She shook her head, "I can't just leave you alone all day." He was slightly irritated with how Clarion was babying him. "I've been sick before, Ree. Also, what if you get sick?" he pointed out. She shrugged, "Then, the ministers will have to deal without me for a day." Milori's eyes expanded, "Pixie Hollow would be in chaos. You should go."

At this point, Clarion was done with Milori being stubborn. "For the last and final time, I will not be leaving," she said sternly. Milori nodded. He knew better than to argue with her any more than he already did. He crossed his arms and sat back. Clarion walked out and a few moments later walked back over to him. She had a thermometer in her hand. Milori sighed and put it in his mouth. Clarion gasped, "Milori! You're burning up." "Maybe, it's not cold enough in here or we could get an ice pack." He tried to not laugh at his dumb joke. Clarion was clearly not finding it very amusing. She took a deep breath, "You should sleep." Milori groaned in annoyance. A second later he started coughing a ton.

"I should get you some medicine." He shook his head vigorously no. He despised it with every fiber in his body. He would rather die of illness than take it. Clarion smiled, "I wasn't asking if you wanted it." Milori's mouth dropped open and he started mumbling to himself. She walked out the door. A few minutes later she walked back in holding a small bottle. Milori grinned and stood up, "Would you look at that! I'm all better. It must've been...morning sickness." He was trying to not cough or sneeze at all while saying it. Clarion rolled her eyes, "You are such a child. Sit back down."

He glared slightly and sat down on the bed as he was ordered to do. Clarion measured out the correct amount for him to take. She handed him the cup filled slightly with it. He smiled slightly, "Can I have water?" She blinked a few times then smiled, "Sure."
She brought him a cup of water as requested. He took the medicine as fast as possible and then drank the water. "You are an actual child sometimes...." Clarion mumbled to herself. It was obvious she said it. Milori said, "You still like me though, right?" "Yes. I still like you," She answered while sitting down at Milori's desk in his room. It had papers scattered all around and was very far from tidy, hers was the complete opposite of it.

"By the second star, how do you get anything done here?" Clarion asked slightly astonished. "It's an organized mess, not everyone understands it," Milori answered smiling. Clarion giggled and began doing her paperwork. She had brought it along because they had had a meeting to attend.

The rest of the day went the same. Milori would complain of being bored. Clarion would tell him to sleep or do paperwork. He would always choose to sleep over paperwork. He was enjoying his sick day as much as he could. At one point he had gotten so done with sleeping he finally decided to start the paperwork. They were both working in silence. Occasionally talking about work. "How many baskets must Mary have her tinkers make?" Clarion inquired looking at Milori from across the room. "We need 20 more." "Thanks."

Hours later, it was 10:30 pm (22:30) Clarion had finally caught up on all her paperwork from past days. She looked up to see Milori fast asleep on the bed. She quietly shut off the lights and moved his papers off of him. She silently laid next to him. She closed her eyes only to hear him coughing again, this was going to be a long night.

The next morning, Milori woke up feeling better than ever. He rolled over and smiled at Clarion who was still fast asleep next to him. Then.... she started sneezing. She had gotten sick. Milori was not looking ahead to the day to come. The Lord of Winter being sick is one thing, the exceptionally stubborn Queen of Pixie Hollow is a whole different story.

SORRY!!!!

This chapter is so horrible I might delete it. It's so jumpy and has horrible descriptions. As always the typos will be fixed and updated tomorrow. It's also out of character at some points. It's 4:00 am so what can we expect right?? It was really rushed because I'm trying to make up for all the time I spent not updating. Gratefulness to everyone who sent in the ideas. I'm going to try and update more often!
