The sun glared down Hansake's figure as he stood, balancing his weight on the several cars stacked on top of each other, he had been sitting there for what felt like ages, anticipating a rescue that seemed unlikely to ever appear. He sat on the car's hood, gazing warily down at the chaos below. he took his journal from his bag and starts to write all his memories, experiences bit by bit in case whatever happens, Just thinking about bieng devoured alive sends shivers down his spine, just thinking how painfull it is.❛ 𝖭𝗈 𝗆𝗈𝗋𝖾 𝖺𝗆𝗆𝗎𝗇𝗂𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇𝗌 𝗇𝗈𝗋 𝖺 𝗐𝖺𝗒 𝗈𝗎𝗍, 𝗂𝗍'𝗅 𝖻𝖾 𝖺 𝗌𝗁𝖺𝗆𝖾 𝗂𝖿 𝗂 𝖽𝗂𝖾 𝗁𝖾𝗋𝖾. ❜
He states while liɡhtinɡ the last piece of his ciɡarette and hiding his journal to his bag, seemingly ready to focus on killing the creatures.
Howls and moans can be heard from far below him, where zombies had gathered around, clambering on each other to reach him. He has been up there for several hours waitinɡ for a rescue to happen but the sun is settinɡ, the darkness starts to emerɡe, slowly losinɡ hope, he sat atop of the cars hood and feels in awe, All of a sudden, he felt the hairs on the back of his neck he stoods up and swungs reflexively behind him; a zombie groaned, then fell sideways, he holds his bat more tightly in his hands.
Because of his sudden movement the stocked up cars wobbled dangerously - and observed his surroundings; All around him were zombies, circling the stack of cars like moths circling a lamp. Their hands rose high, reflecting the sun's glare on their pale, paper-like skin. Their eyes were that of a bottomless pit, spiraling deeper and deeper with no way to tell when it ends. And their cries, throaty and hoarse, drilling themselves in Hansake's eardrums so loudly they could be behind him.
He heard a loud growl from his back which he immediately bump his body to the zombie that had appered, followinɡ his bump Hansake has swiped at one of the zombies with his bat; the zombie's head snapped sideways, followed by his body. There was a sickening crunch when the body hit the ground, punctuated with pained cries.
❛ 𝖢𝖺𝗇'𝗍 𝗒𝗈𝗎 𝖼𝗈𝗎𝗋𝗍 𝖽𝖾𝖺𝗍𝗁 𝖺𝖿𝗍𝖾𝗋 𝗂𝗆 𝖿𝗂𝗇𝗂𝗌𝗁 𝗋𝖾𝗌𝗍𝗂𝗇𝗀?! 𝖲𝗍𝗎𝗉𝗂𝖽 𝖻𝖺𝗌𝗍𝖺𝗋𝖽𝗌! ❜
He shouted at the beheaded zombie who tried to 𝗉𝗈𝗎𝗇ce him.
Hansake's breath caught up in his throat as he held his bat higher. His heart was thumping so harshly against his chest he swore he could feel the muscle hitting his ribcage. He took grasps of his chest while clenching his teeth as a sign of pain, He was all alone in the city; the last news he had heard of any other life was from last month. He had no rations, and no shelter to spend the night. Worst, the red glow of the sky he could make amidst the thick clouds of smoke told him that dusk was nearing.
Another loud growl sounded from below; Hansake jumped and raised his bat, ready to strike. But alas he had stepped too far back - the edge of the car teetered on the edge, and before Hansake could react, before he could realize what was happening, he fell backwards. He had had one glance of the sky - his life flashed before his eyes, he saw his memories in a glimpse, the memories he had 10 years ago, before his eyes saw the heads of the zombies and feeling his body crashing to the solid concrete, he knew no more that he will die nevertheless. He felt ease and frightened for what's to come.
