“Haley! Get Yo’ fat ass out of bed!”

I groaned, and pressed my face into the pillow.

“It’s time for you to go away James.” I murmured, squeezing my eyes shut tight.

“Nu – ah. I’m not leaving till you get out of bed. We’re going shopping today.”

I looked at him, from under the covers.

“No, I’m serious. Get out. I’m naked.”

I saw his face turn bright red as he turned to face the wall, covering his eyes with his hands.

“Alright, I’m going. But if you’re not out of bed in 10 minutes, I’m sending Beau in.”

He blindly hobbled out of the room, his eyes still shut closed, I grinned at him tiredly.

I wasn’t naked.

I was just tired, and that was the only thing I could think of to get rid of him.

Pretty awesome excuse if you ask me, but whatever.

I’m not in the mood for this, I think as I hobble out of bed. I was not going to risk Beau barging into my room though, because honestly; I think he would jump on me or something!

I change out of my pajamas quickly,into a pair of high top shorts with a fitted blouse tucked in. Whilst running a brush through my hair to tame it, I walked into the kitchen to see Beau and James eating anything they could find in my pantry.

“Hey! That’s MY cereal!” I complained, whacking Beau across the head lightly.

“Aww c’mon Haley, I haven’t eaten that much!” He said, rubbing his head.

I glared at him, looking at the bowel which had cereal contents filled to the top, without him even adding the milk in yet.

“Yeah, right.” I mocked him.  

The toaster popped, and I saw James get the toasted bread out, putting the 4 pieces on a plate from under the microwave.

“Well boys, help yourself.” I say sarcastically, rolling my eyes.

“Why thank you Callaghan! I shall do just that.” Beau stated, stuffing his mouth with a whole spoonful of breakfast. I scrunched my nose up in disgust at the boy, but then mentally shook myself. This was him on a regular day!

“Righteo then… James what are we doing today?” I asked, turning to face the boy in question.

“Oh yeah, right. Um going shopping because I need new clothes for the school camp.”

You see, school had announced that there would be a senior camp going ahead and that it was compulsory that all students see to attend. You would have to have a pretty good reason to get out of it.

“Why do you need new clothes? You’re supposed to wear your old clothes anyways.” I said munching on an apple I had picked up.

“Well I just want to go shopping, and that’s what I told mum so that’s why we’re going.” He winked.

“Okee-dokee.” I laughed.

“So Beau, you coming?” I asked, mentally laughing at the rhyme I had just used.
