Born Primrose Diana Gia Mounbatten-Windsor is the eldest daughter of Prince Edward of Wessex, youngest son of Queen Elizabeth.
Primrose is the only one of her siblings to have a royal title, when the Earls of Wessex married, they announced that only their firstborn would have a title of nobility and it would be an exception requested by Queen Elizabeth as they did not want their children to have royal titles.
On the first birthday of Princess Primrose, and at a party where the entire royal family was present, the Queen announced that Primrose would be named Princess of England when she turned 10 years old, that news was not well taken by the Duke of York and Princess Anne, as it would automatically pass them in the line of succession to the throne, leaving Primrose behind Prince Harry being even before his father.
Primrose was out of the spotlight from birth until she was 10 years old, being educated at home so that when she was named princess of England she would be able to follow all the royal protocols, once she was named princess of England, she began her formal education at verbier international school in Sweden, where she attended for 5 years to then continue her education at whanganui collegiate school in new Zealand, the same school where her father attended.
In 2018, once she finished her compulsory formal education, she returned to England, several rumors say that Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip had a small meeting with her and Prince William where they informed her that it would not be necessary for her to go to university since as Princess of England she should accompany the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in royal engagements in addition to having to accompany the King and Queen if necessary.
Since 2018 Primrose is the only granddaughter of the kings who is constantly accompanying them on their royal dutties, several times she has been criticized for the way she dresses since like her grandfather, she is interested in fashion and is not afraid of being criticized for the way she dresses since even the kings have not been concerned in the least.
She has been in the eye of the storm for alleged love affairs with other princes, rumors that have been denied by both the princess and Buckingham Palace.

Everyone would think that being a member of the royal family means having your life figured out, unfortunately everyone is wrong. Usually the princes with the most pressure on their shoulders are the children of the next heir to the throne, but that wasn't the case with you either.
Even before your birth you were already generating controversy within the palace, with the Duke of York and Princess Anne being the least happy about the birth of Prince Edward's firstborn, the reason being the Queen Mother's desire to revive a tradition that had died out more than 200 years ago.
When King George and Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, married and were crowned King and Queen of The United Kingdom , they both made the decision that if they had a son, they would revive the tradition that the first born of the Kings youngest son would be named Prince or Princess of England, but as the Kings only had two daughters, they were unable to fulfil their wish to revive the tradition.
When the King died and Elizabeth took over as Queen of England, the Queen Mother told Elizabeth of her wish to revive the tradition, and she happily accepted the proposal.
Days before Prince Edward was due to marry, he had a talk with Queen Elizabeth, making her aware of his wish that none of her children should have a royal title, at which point the Queen gave the Prince an ultimatum: if he wanted to marry, he would have to let his firstborn acquire a royal title, which she would bestow on him when the Prince's first son or daughter turned 10.
Princess Primrose's first birthday was celebrated at Edinburgh Palace, where the whole family was present. When it came time to present the gifts, the Queen stepped forward and began to make the announcement to the family.
"When my father died," the Queen began, "my mother came to speak to me, telling me of my father's wish to revive a tradition that had died over 200 years ago," the Queen spoke, drawing the attention of all present, "the tradition is that the first-born of the youngest male child of the King and Queen should receive the title of Prince or Princess of England, The title gives the prince or princess an advancement in the line of succession to the throne, leaving him or her behind the children of the heir to the throne, and when he or she turns 18, he or she must begin his or her royal engagements accompanying the king and queen." At the moment the queen paused, a look of rejection could be seen on the faces of Princess Anne and the Duke of York, who rejected the idea of being overtaken in the line of succession.
"When Primrose turns 10, she will be named Princess of England, and when she is given the royal title, she will no longer be No. 8 in the succession and will automatically be fourth in line, behind Charles, William and Harry, and when she turns 19 she will move to Birch Hall, Surrey, and the cost of maintaining the house will be paid for by Buckingham Palace as a gift from the King and Queen.
The last part was not taken well by the Duke and Duchess of York, as the residence had previously been offered to the Duke's daughters, who turned it down because of the high maintenance costs.
"As a final announcement, Princess Primrose will be educated at Windsor Palace under the supervision of the Prime Minister and the King and Queen, and once she receives the title of Princess of England, she will be able to begin her education in schools like the others.
The Queen's announcement caused a stir among the Duke and Duchess of York and Princess Anne, Prince Charles as well as the Earl and Countess of Wessex (Primrose's parents) took the decision calmly as they knew that the Queen took decisions with great caution.
Princess Anne's children took the decision with some anger as they felt it was unfair that Primrose was elected Princess of England, even though neither of them had royal titles.
Prince Andrew's daughters did not think much of it, even though they were only 13 and 11 years old, both knew they had no chance of becoming Queen of Great Britain.
