"Grandma thanks for the dinner again." I thanked her and gave her a peck on the cheek. She smiled at me and nod her head in reply.
"Make sure to lock all your doors and don't let anyone in unless it's me or Takeomi, OK?" She said and lightly squeezed my left forearm. I nod my head, fully understanding what she meant.
She finally let go of me and went back to cleaning the dishes. I went to the living room to grab my bag and go. There I saw Takeomi and his friend. Just seeing him made me remember what happened earlier, putting a smile on my lips. I choose to ignore them, just to help me stop the urge from laughing.
"What, you leaving already?" I turned to the two and was about to answer Takeomi's question when his friend spoke up first.
"Gramps is probably looking for me now." He said while straightening up his clothes. I shrug it off and just head straight to the door.
When I got out of the gate I was about to go but a voice stopped me.
"Uhm!" I turned and saw Shinichiro standing by the door, looks like he just got out. His face turned red again but now he didn't look away from me. It's really odd how he's a delinquent too, he's so different from Takeomi.
"It's already dark uhm, let me w-walk you home." He said.
But my house is just beside the Akashi's...
The determined look on his eyes and the deep red tint on his cheeks made me realize something. He's shy with girls so right now, he's actually being brave. He definitely tried to muster up a ton of courage just to say that. I don't want to look mean and turn him down.
I smiled at him and nod my head. "Yeah sure."
Hearing that made his face brighten up a little. I could already hear him complimenting himself in his head. I look away and pressed my lips together. Don't laugh (Y/N)! I heard the gate close so I turned back to him. He smiled at me then told me to lead the way.
"I'm Sano Shinichiro by the way." He said as we walk side by side.
I stopped walking just in front of our gate and turned to him. "It was nice meeting you Sano-kun, thanks for walking me home." I said, forcing myself not to laugh.
He looks suprised as he glance at me and the house behind me, then back at me. His cheeks turned to deep red again and his mouth was agape. I couldn't contain it anymore so I started laughing. Slightly bending down as I slap my knees.
"W-why didn't you tell me?" He stuttered. I stopped laughing, a grin staying on my lips.
"I just can't say no to you." I said and ended up laughing again.
