Chapter 9 - Deku vs Kacchan

Midoriya: "Because Kacchan, Y/n, and I lived in the same neighborhood we've known each other since we were little. Y/n had said that his family moved often, so he lived near us since we were three until some time after we were five years old."

Midoriya is very young. He stands in front of a metal fence with warnings about trespassing, nervously staring at it. Child Bakugo points to the fenced property and confidently claims:

Child Bakugo: "Let's go kill the enemy!" Four kids, one of them is Y/n, yell "Yeah!"

Child Midoriya: "Ye- Yeah!"

Midoriya: "He was the type who could do anything he tried his hand at. A rascal who led the group of neighborhood kids. Good or bad, Kacchan was full of confidence, and I thought he was so cool. But... After his quirk manifested, he started down the path towards 'bad'."

Bakugo: "Even though you're scared... That's what I hate about you!" Y/n hears their words from All Might's trans-receiver.

Lida: "Hey, Bakugo! Update me on the situation! What's happening?!" Lida speaks on the intercom"

Bakugo: "Shut up and keep watch...! I'm ready to wreck someone!"

Lida: "Don't let your emotions get the better of you! Hey?! He cut his trans-receiver...! What a scoundrel!"

Kirishima: "What're they saying? These fixed cameras don't have any sound."

All Might: "They're communicating with micro trans-receivers! We give them to the battlers along with the building blueprints. Also, this is capture tape!" He holds up a small roll of tape. "Trying this around your opponent is sufficient proof of capture!"

-"So they've only got 15 minutes, but the heroes don't know the location of the weapon, right?"

All Might: "Yes!"

Ashido: "the hero teams are at a real disadvantage, huh?"

All Might: "It's like Aizawa told you. Say it with me!"

Aoyama: "Ah, monsieur Bakugo is...!"

-"PLUS ULTRA!"

Bakugo propels toward Midoriya. Aiming a kick on him.

Midoriya: "Run on ahead, Uraraka!" Bakugo hicks his head, but he blocks with his arms.

Bakugo: "Looking away? You must be sure of yourself." He says before he realizes the boy wrapped something around his leg. "The capture tape--?"

Midoriya: "Hero notebook number 10, page 18! I'm glad I got to see Eraser Head's moves in action! What's next? If it's Kacchan, he'll get impatient and swing with his right again!" He jumps out of the way. "I was right!"

Rikido: "That guy's amazing!"

Sero: "He's not even using his quirk and fighting against the guy who finished second in the entrance exam!"

All Might: "He was always good at reacting quickly in a crisis. He spent so many years writing his notes and internalizing them. That fanboy knowledge is now paying off as it propels him forward!"

Y/n: "Bakugo kicked first this time to keep him from reading his moves... Looks like one rope won't be enough to hold him..."

Midoriya skedaddles around the corner, fleeing away.

Midoriya: "Gotta come up with a strategy!"

Bakugo: "Get back here, Deku!" Midoriya runs away. "Must have been fun, yeah? Tricking me this whole time! Right? Hiding that flashy quirk of yours!" The walls echo his shouts as Midoriya hears him. "So bring it on! I'll still crush you!"
