Chapter 27 - Knows

The four olders sitting in the living room were a actually shocked seeing Jungkook go through a book of werewolf law and financial affairs.

Taehyung threw a brief glance at Jimin who was equally suprised seeing Jungkook so engrossed in reading a book like that.

The purple head hated those kingdom ruling things, he never even entered the Queen's office because that makes him feel 'not-okay' and uncomfortable, he didn't even entered the office rather told Taehyung to get him that book from inside.

The book was huge with olive green leather cover, with a thousand coffee coloured pages, it stated all the rules and laws of the werewolf committee in the first five hundred pages and things about financial affairs in the next half.

Jungkook adjusted his black framed thick glasses which had descended a bit down his nose bridge, warily glancing at the olders around who had their attentions on him.

"Don't y'all have some work?" Jungkook asked, his gaze scanning the words on the pages, this book was surely written way back as few Korean words literally felt so new to him, that he had his tablet open with the Google dictionary tab open on it.

"We actually don't, it's late evening" Jimin answered walking towards Jungkook and sitting besides the younger, he looked at the words and Jungkook was reading about the rules of mating a different creature.

The other creatures were very rare, the vampires once were the most in number but the werewolves outnumbered them and the rest fairies, witches and humans lived in different parts of worlds very well known about eachother but never mingling.

"A werewolf and a vampire can't mate, like at all? It's prohibited according to the law" Jungkook looked up at Taehyung who seemed to conflicted to reply this question.

"No, vampires are awful creatures if you ask me. They suck blood eww!" Jimin made a disgusted face, his nose srunched as he made a gagging face. The people around could see the dislike the pink haired male had for the other kind.

"Vampires don't only suck blood, and they aren't that awful. Not every vampire is the same" Taehyung defended as his gaze wavered to Jungkook's who seemed to be agreeing with his sentence.

"Vampires can be goodies also" Jungkook looked at Taehyung with their gaze meeting. There was a glint in Taehyung's eyes that didn't go missing by the younger.

"They aren't a treat to be called 'goodies' also I despise vampires- can't be around those nasty blood suckers" Hoseok added his point getting up and walking off to his room.

"They aren't nasty blood suckers, there is much more to them" Taehyung mumbled to himself, his fingers fiddling with his shirt material before he got up and walked towards his room which was now also shared by Jungkook.

Soon later Jimin was the only one staying besides Jungkook while Yoongi prioritised his sleep. They discussed about stuff written in the book, also Jimin explaining him about the backstory of the royal werewolves.

"Jimin-ie uncle" Jungkook looked at the older who squinted his eyes, the cresent shape formed with the eyelids looking questioning.

"You don't pronounce my name properly until you need something, so speak up" Jimin chuckled ruffling the younger's hair.

"Umm, Taehyung hyung knows everything about me" Jungkook paused his eyes scanning around Jimin's face which looked a bit tensed but was doing a good job with concealing it.

"You wanna know about Taehyung right? Let me tell you then" Jimin shuffled around and patted his thigh which was que for Jungkook to lay his head on the older's lap after taking off his glasses and placing it on the tea-table.

"Taehyung was a farmer's son, staying far away from the pack. His house was burnt down during the short circuit. He was alone when the King Hansung took him under his wing" Jimin said, this script was very well practiced by his mates too.

"Taehyung says he fell for King Hansung's charms, the way he was so humble, guided the pack with such dedication, he was the most respectful man Taehyung had ever been with still Taehyung's statement about King Hansung hasn't changed" taking a deep breath Jimin could smell Jungkook's sour emotions, he very well knew that the younger was getting riled up.

"No other alpha can be as dedicated as King Hansung was, even in his late forties he was very handsome Taehyung says that, the Queen must miss his Alpha a lot" Jimin rolled his tougue against the insides of his cheeks, there was almost no emotion on his face nor did his voice changed any notes.

"Being a King he was appropriately putting forth his duties over anything else, this was one of the main reason Taehyung really loved the King" Jimin paused looking at Jungkook who inhaling and exhaling deep breaths, "The King never ran away from his duties, he was born for it and he did it without any complaints rather was passionate about it"

"Must be a great personality" Jungkook huffed not even trying to hide his jealousy.

"He was a great personality, if he was here Taehyung would have been enjoying his life like a Queen should, the burden on his shoulders would lessen", the omega rolled his eyes all the words he was spewing was completely false he knew it but he also knew that Taehyung wouldn't want Jungkook to know the truth.

"Life isn't fair sometimes, poor Queen's destined mate doesn't want to fulfill his duties towards the pack. Taehyung literally loves his mate too much to let him live the way he wants, the Queen would rather prefer King Hansung being alive" Jimin shrugged speaking nonchalantly, later bit his bottom lip, this facial features srunched knowing that he had went way too much in the flow.

"No Jungkook! Fuck!", he tired to call out for the younger who was already stomping his legs walking towards his room, the room he and Taehyung shared because it was the Queen's wish to let Jungkook share a room with him.

"Oh, my Moon Goddess!" Jimin sighed heavily bouncing his legs, goosebumps rose on his body as he heard a loud slam of door.
