Chapter 1 - The Beginning

Madison's POV
I woke up to the my phone's ring, it was Golden and I picked up.

"Agh i just want some sleep Gold what's up" I asked in a sleepy voice.

Golden is my best friend, he can be annoying sometimes but he's the best.

"Are you ready for todayyy?" He screamed, damn it's only 8am,

"Yeah of course I am" i answered,

"Good I'll be there in 10" he said,

"Why so early?" I asked,

"C'mon Madi I have a performance today after like half year with no performances at all, I need to be ready and you're here to help me" he said with a giggle,

"I- the performance is on 8pm, it's literally 8 in the MORNING we have time" I said in despair,

"Yeah anyways bye be ready" he said and hung up the call. Jeez how is he so energetic.

I went to the bathroom and did my skin routine, after that I put on some baggy clothes and went downstairs to the kitchen.

I heard knocks on the door and knew it was Golden, I opened the door and he stood there in front of me.

"Hellooo" he said and hugged me,

"Hey" I said with a little smile,

"I was exactly about to eat, you came in a good time" I said as I poured milk in two bowls and put cereals in them.

"Great, so any special plans for today?" He asked,

"Well, not really. How about you? Are you excited?" I asked,

"Yeah very" He said,

"As you should" I said.

"No lie" he laughed and put his bowl in the dishwasher,

"Yeah, so what are your plans?" I asked,

"I do have some stuff to do, I need to redo my braids and then I need to talk with my manager" he answered.

"Wanna go to the barbershop now?" I asked,

"Yeah sure" he said.

We left my house and got into Golden's car and he started to drive.
The barber greeted us with a smile as we walked in.

"Hey guys, what can I offer to you?" He asked,

"I need to redo my braids" Golden answered,

"Got it" he said and Golden sat down,

"You're 24kGoldn aren't you?" He asked as he braids his hair,

"Yes I am" Golden answered,

"Cool man, I love your music" he said,

"Thanks bro I truly appreciate it" Golden said with a smile,

"Of course, is that your girlfriend?" He said and looked at me,

"No we're just good friends" I quickly answered.

"My bad, ok that's it, 30$" he said and Golden gave him the money and we left.

"The hair looks good" I said as we sat in the car,

"Thanks" he said with a smile.

"What's next?" I asked,

"Well, now I need to meet my manager before the performance" he answered,
