S.E.C.S Originally there were thirteen children who survived the prolonged exposed to the cube. None were related. Each child, when they had reached a later age, were forced to have children to pass these powers on. None of these children were related. Out of the thirteen who tried to escape 23 years later, only two women escaped. Each had a child, one with Pyrokinesis and one with Cyrokinesis. These kids were Maeve and Thalia's parents.
