Melony pov
"Wake up honey" I heard my mother called, but I was so sleepy I ignored her and rolled to the other side of the soft, king-sized bed. As a result of my little rebellion the blanket was pulled and i got hit by the extremely cold air of their room.
"Mel it's time to wake up or you're going to be late for your first day of school" Daddy said, i have always loved the way his voice sounded it was like silk but at the same time as thick as honey.
"One more hour" I said as i tried to find the warm comfort of the blanket with my tiny little hands.
"Hehehehehe you leave us no choice baby girl" They said in the creepiest voices ever that even the devil would whimper in fear. That alone was a sign for me to run for my life, but before I could even react they held me down and gave me a wet willy in both ears.
"Wha-what the f-fuck " I cried .
"Aaaww our baby girl said her first curse word" Mom said, and at that exact moment reality hit both of them hard.
"Mel tell me exactly where you heard that word" Dad said.
"You mean f-fuck" I said while wiping the tears of my face.
"OMG Lucius she said it again we are failures" mom said while she acted like she was crying.
"Such a drama queen" Dad said "Melony don't end up like your mother" He sighed
That alone scared me I was never called by my full name at home unless I was in trouble. He kneeled down on one knee and placed his hands on my shoulders as his blueish gold orbs stared into my into my left forest green orb and my right ruby orb.
"You shouldn't say that word it's a bad word" He said
"So why does you and mom say it when you think I'm not listening" I counted
"Because we are adults" he said calmly "By the way where did you hear it from exactly because we try not to say does words around you" Mom said
"I think it was last week when I got home early from uncle Valentin's place and then you had mom tied up to a bed-" I said
"ENOUGH" mom shouted, her face was so red it would have put a tomato to shame while dad started to laugh like he just lost his mind
"Um mom dad lets start getting me ready for school or I'm going to be late"
"Last time I checked weren't you the one saying 'one more hour'" Mom said as she tried to imitate me
"So immature" dad sweat drop "please don't end up like your mother. Anyways you still got 3 hours until you gotta go to school." He then pointed to the alarm clock and it said 4:30 A.M
"WHAT" I screamed "let me go back to sleep then" I whined
"No, but what would you like for breakfast" dad asked
"My sleep"
"French toast it is would you like it plain or sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar"
"Please I need my beauty sleep or I would die from exhaustion" I whined
"Okay extra cinnamon and sugar it is, with apple juice" he said as he walked toward the door and left their bedroom.
"Let's get you ready for school" mom said
"But it's still too early, it's only 4:35 A.M let me sleep for 30 min"
"No honey we have to get you ready" she said, a sad smile graced her small pink lips and her beautiful emerald eyes darkened with self hate.
